Yesterday I saw a music video and Kirstie Maldonado was wearing some dark earrings (They looked nice, but I grew up on the farm so I think earTAG) They were huge and looked heavy.
I suppose the trends come and go, but what is the biggest cab that isn’t too big for a pendant? Some of these folks put regular barn chain around their neck.

I didn't want to put it in either wire wrapping or metal smithing, so I put it in creations.
I think 50 mm is ok if there is a hidden bail on the back. But some people do like big pendants that they wear on long chains. And, yes, trends change.

I think the size of the person is a consideration. What looks nice on 5'2" & 97 pounds can look ridiculous on 6'2" and anything over 120 pounds.

Thanks Tela it did come out really nice things get exponentially exaggerated in the heart shaping department pennies are much more manageable but one cannot cheat in the heart biz

Not knowing much, I'm going to throw my two cents in- like anything else, I would think that it's just a matter of personal taste. Like Tela says, trends change. I'm thinking I may just do a group shot of the pendants I've tried to make with something in the pic to show the size and stick it in this thread just to get some input. Thanks for starting it, knave!

I could ask the same question about earrings. Anything my wife would have worn was small but I can imagine someone wearing pendants as earrings.

I love the optical promise, not too big at all. If I wore pendants it would be in the rotation. ETA: The whole family really likes it. The mohberry one is super cute but I prefer the size of the optical promise. Thanks again Ed.

Pendant size is personal preference and body size. Very large people look ridiculous with a teeny tiny pendant that's hidden in their neck folds and very small people look ridiculous with a humongous pendant hanging on their neck. But, to each his own and I've seen both.

Good point thanks for bringing up my neck folds.

Good point thanks for bringing up my neck folds. You don't have neck folds. I'm talking about turkey wattle folds.
