Randy, am I seeing things, or is the red in this one actually moss?? It's coprolite. I feel there was a void, or at least a porous region that filled with red agate replacement that looks a bit mossy. There's even a spot of agate fortification that must have formed in an empty portion of the coprolite. I have a bucket full of cut specimens that have the mossy feature in them and most of them have green and lavender hues. |

Randy, got the first batch of Turds from you rolling around the big tumbler this weekend. As things progress, I"ll show off the shinies from the hinies. I look forward to seeing them. They can be a challenge to tumble because of varying hardness, thus undercutting can be annoying. However I've seen some nice tumbles. |
