That's crazy cool backlit, Randy! You should make a nightlight or something out of that one.

This thread is extremely fitting for me. Since I currently work in wastewater. Take mini breaks in the day to catch up on the poop being posted.

That’s really cool, an intact limb.👍 I hope it’s not trying to identify as coprolite, wood is cool too.🤓

Here's another example. Wood limb on the bottom, and on the top there's a limb within the coprolite.

That’s really cool, the limb within the coprolite. I’ve never been a huge fan of coprolite, no offense, just never grabbed me. But I do like that limb inside the larger coprolite. I could see displaying that. It tells a story.👍

That limb crap is freaking rad. Every time I check in to this thread, I’m surprised by something found inside of the poo.

That limb crap is freaking rad. Every time I check in to this thread, I’m surprised by something found inside of the poo. Me too. When you consider most of the hadrosaur species ranged in size from a cow to much bigger than an elephant and then factor in the amazing teeth they had, as Dave posted on the page before this, you start to realize these critters handled wood limbs like a huge chipper/shredder. Some of them were so big I've found a few coprolites the size of a bushel basket. I never bothered to try to get them home because they lacked the beautiful patterns and colors of smaller ones, plus they were in boulder fields on steep slopes that would have killed me to try to retrieve them.

It’s possible I haven’t heard that word since high school, or earlier? I’m glad to see someone’s not letting it go completely extinct.🤓

Reminds me times back on the ranch we used to winter our cows in a pasture with a lot of willow thickets. You'd walk through the willows and there'd be cow crap stuck on many sticks waist high and lower.

Now all we need is a coprolite with a branch sticking out of it - turd museum material.

That's a pretty interesting one RWA3006. Do you see that coloration very much?
