knave Evan, now you're cooking with gas! Great deal. Before you had little free time, now you will have zero free time, lol.

Cool! Looks like a nice little beacon star tc-1. The word “Star” is cast in the aluminum. That’s all I can find.

Thanks everyone! I was given 2 gal of oil to use with it. Some say water may be ok with additive. I’ll have to see how bad the oil mist is with a test run outside.

Thanks everyone! I was given 2 gal of oil to use with it. Some say water may be ok with additive. I’ll have to see how bad the oil mist is with a test run outside. Oil is better than water for preserving blades. If the mist isn't significant, problem solved. If it were my saw and there was a mist issue, I would have a plexiglass cube made to contain it. Unbolt the saw from the workmate, and put a bottom between the saw and the workmate and put a plexiglass box over the saw. If the on/off mechanism can't be outside the box, add an on off switch to the power supply. My Convington has a door on the top that opens to inspect the cut without getting sprayed.

Also $150 I want. Will you ship it to me? Wonder what that would cost?

Also $150 I want. Will you ship it to me? Wonder what that would cost? That’s the sad part, shipping would probably be at least as much as the grinder. I actually did speak for it and the fine gentleman is holding it for me.
