I like that model of light because I can rotate the stone up, down, sideways, whatever.

I assure my friends that having a nightlight which backlights an interesting agate is a great excuse to view and admire the beauty of stones every day (night). I've been making them for several years often from the thin remains from a slabbing effort. My local findings store sells a more typical night light (with bulb) and a T-bar that can be used to support the stone. They hold up real well with E6000 as the adhesive. I really like the LED light and the rotating head that allows me to aim. It also seems to show off the stone quite nicely.
The only problem is the wife has trouble sleeping with a nite lite in the room. Doesn't bother me though.
