I will have to make sure you guide me again next trip. Be happy that the pokies are not aggressive. But dogs are and pay the price.

I like it out there at Fairburn. I've only been there a few times and found a few but haven't had a ton of luck... A lot of land to search for sure!

Nice find! I love it when I spot something from a bit of a distance and sort of make a bet with myself whether it'll turn out to be something good. The brief suspense getting over to it and having a closer look to see if you're right is so much fun.
One thing I've done with rocks I potentially think have hidden treasure inside is to make a slice on the backside at such an angle so that if I don't find anything I can set it on the cut to better angle the pretty face for display. If I happen to find something good inside then slice away or throw it in the tumbler.
If you decide to cut or tumble it it would be awesome to see some pictures!!

I like it out there at Fairburn. I've only been there a few times and found a few but haven't had a ton of luck... A lot of land to search for sure! I've been out there WAY more than you...and our luck is still the same...poor to horrible! You would think right! I've got to start looking for tumble material and not just Fairburns... I meant to take some closeup pics today of the actual rock beds just to show the sensory overload you can go through out here in certain places...next time I will. If/when I cut or tumble them, I will definitely post pictures. That's why my wife married me! Oh wait, you were talking about the agate! LOL Okay, so I went out today and was not only figuratively skunked, but I was literally badgered while I was out there!!! I was upwind, so he didn't know I was there. He got about 40 yards from me before he saw me. I heard him and saw him before he knew I was there...we had a staring contest for about 3-4 minutes before he turned tail and meandered off...
