Black olives for me, too. Just glad it did not have anchovies, I wouldn't touch that. That's not people food, that's fish bait! Wait a second... Last i checked, I'm not a fish, and I LOVE anchovies on pizza. Pineapple, too. Not necessarily on the same pizza, though. Plus, there's no such thing as too much garlic. Well, maybe there is, but it's not easy to get there. To each his own. It's hard for me to believe, but some people don't like avocados. Go figure...

Not everyone likes them, but to me they totally enhance a pizza, and make a real Caesar dressing.
I also like black liquorice (not pizza ), which is also a strong flavor not everyone likes.
I'm with you on avocados, though. I'm baffled when people don't like them in any form. I have a co-worker who doesn't even like guacamole. I'm not sure how he watches football. He periodically has an avocado packed in his lunch (hope springs eternal with his wife, I suppose), and I reap the benefits when this happens.
On the flip side, I can't stand mayonnaise, sour cream or most other white sauces (other than a good Caesar dressing), and most people think I'm weird. OK, they are right, but THAT is not reason.

I want to keep this thread going with periodic, hopefully regular, posts. However, there is a serious issue with alliteration (like Turd Tuesday or Fairburn Friday) -- nothing works well with poppy, orbicular or even jasper. Wednesday (= Woden's Day = Odin's Day) is a stretch, but it's the best I can create. Open to suggestions. Until something better comes along, then, here is today's post for Orbicular Odin's Day: Morgan Hill: IMG_5853_Black and yellow Morgan Hill poppy jasper with a "Fractal super-poppy" by Stephan T., on Flickr IMG_5891_Morgan Hill poppy jasper freeform cab by Stephan T., on Flickr Hornitos: IMG_4084_Hornitos poppy jasper flame by Stephan T., on Flickr

On that note, I am opening this up to anything orbicular. Post your OJ, Leopardskin jasper, bird's-eye rhyolite. Heck, if you have orbicular basalt or serpentine (I've heard the serpentine exists in one place in CA, maybe other places, but I haven't seen any), oolite or anything else.

Polka-Dot Jasper from Oregon would be insulted if you didn't include it in Odin's Orby Day: Polka Dot In its wildest moods, even Australia's Noreena has its orby moments: Noreena And so does Silver Crown Psilomelane from Mexico: Psilomelane I'm sure there are many others but these are the ones I have images of.

Very cool stuff. Thanks for adding. The Luna agate reminds me of the eye of Illuminati/dollar bill (take your pick) pyramid.

This is one of the more unusual MH I've made. From Lion's den and mainly clear agate.

@hookedonrocks -- don't judge a book by its cover, or a jasper by its rind. That is truly wild.

RWA3006 Hornitos material? And, I might add: Wow! Thanks. I don't know it's origin and was hoping you guys could tell me. The poor photo doesn't come close to showing its glory either. This stone was included in the inventory of a closing rock shop where I bought the entire inventory. I have more to show, but as everyone knows it would only be proper to post the photos on Odin's Day!
