woodman & Fossilman - Both of you guys beat me to it! LOL I posted this out in the garage and didn't think I was right with the Succor Creek...I had to come inside to check my notes...and you guys called me out on it before I could correct it! LOL I corrected it to say "Richardson's Ranch".

Here's one I picked up at the Deming Show this past March. The pair were in one of several buckets of misc. rocks that an old rockhound had at a booth outside. I ended up with 4 of the buckets. This was already cut, but a very bad cut. I glued both to wood and took a slice off to smooth the cut, and then polished on Vib-Lap. Not sure what kind it is. I think I could find a spot in my cabinet for those. Just to repeat what I have said a couple times before, the Geode Kid's collection is in the Deming Museum. If you are ever passing through, it's a mandatory stop. Warning - be prepared for visual overload!!!

The Kid was dyslexic and I helped him with his thinking and writing his books. He thought thundereggs were the result of Immiscible liquids. I explained how they were cristobalite crystals until ruptured by slow steam explosions. In gratitude, he gave me this Baker pair of what he called "Angel Wings" (stalagmites coated with quartz crystals) I placed them on my scanner to get this image.
