I ran my very first cycle (nat geo professional), and I used the grit packet that came with it. Since it is my first rodeo, I figured I would start with the things it came with.
6 days with the first packet, and I have these three larger rocks that still need a lot more time. Am I able to put them back with the leftover slurry from the first round, and let it run another 4 or 5 days with just those three? There are a few others it wouldn’t hart to add in, but some of the smaller ones - they’ll just get scrubbed even smaller, right?
I just realized I am not sure how to post a picture of the rocks!
Thank you! Darcy

No problem putting them back in your slurry for more tumbling. A shot of fresh grit would help and as many rocks as needed to fill your barrel to about half full. The more rocks you use the better the grinding. Take as much time as you need tumbling, as this is a slow paced hobby. Enjoy the hobby and have fun.

Les I just watched Rob’s video on You Tube, the one for beginners. It has all come together now. Nat Geo is useless with their instructions! I am going to spend a LOT more time on this batch. Thank you!
