I should've waited until I had a few more cabs completed, but I couldn't wait to post pics of this one! LOL This is one of my most favoritist (it's a word!) cabs I've made so far. I love how busy this rock is...and I'm really happy with the polish this bad boy took! I know rocks aren't gender specific, but this one told me he felt like being a guy today...so I'm just acquiescing. I have two more preforms from this same slab and I'm hoping for similar results on those. I know...I'll keep the wrap "plain" when it comes time to wrap this one.

Gorgeous cab, Jason!

Great job on the cab jasoninsd ! I love the Ohio flint! I have plenty more if you need it lol. I'm anxiously awaiting my cabbing supplies - I don't think I'll be at your level but I'm hoping to learn quickly. You are doing a great job.

beautiful cab Jason! too bad I only heard about this amazing flint after all of my relatives have moved out of Ohio. looks like it would have been less than 2 hr trip from Dayton, Ohio where both my parents and most of my extended family had lived at one point. Still have an uncle in Lima,Oh but hes usually in Vegas living it up behind a high limit video poker machine lol.
looking forward to seeing more work of yours with this material!

Always enjoy seeing Neathers Flint Ridge polished up. I must have 50 pounds of slabs of it set back waiting for me to find some time at the wheel!

Great job! One of my favorite materials to see cabbed. Thanks Mel! I actually got some of that George West Petrified Wood slabbed today. Some of the pieces I cut were a pretty close second to this flint! beautiful cab Jason! too bad I only heard about this amazing flint after all of my relatives have moved out of Ohio. looks like it would have been less than 2 hr trip from Dayton, Ohio where both my parents and most of my extended family had lived at one point. Still have an uncle in Lima,Oh but hes usually in Vegas living it up behind a high limit video poker machine lol. looking forward to seeing more work of yours with this material! Thank you so much! That's how I feel about the time I spent up in Billings in the early '90s. I could've been hounding for Dryhead Agates that whole time I was living up there! Arghhhh! LOL Excellent material, like working with Ohio Flintridge material... Beautiful cab!! Thanks Mike! I remember you saying that before and I almost tagged you in the original post...I probably should have! Excellent job! Some of that material that is killer and definitely worth working. Thanks Victor! I have been enamored with the material for a spell now...I love the "busy" aspect of a lot of the pieces...and such a wide variety patterns in the different rocks. Always enjoy seeing Neathers Flint Ridge polished up. I must have 50 pounds of slabs of it set back waiting for me to find some time at the wheel! Thank you! Fifty pounds!?!? My heart is racing right now just thinking about that! LOL

Great job on that one. Love the patterns (but of course, it’s brecciated).
