Here's a weird shaped Teepee that I wrapped today. I like the colors in this one and kept this shape to save the patterns. I'm wondering if the swirls are too much on this one? Thanks for looking!

First off, I have to say that that may be the most beautiful Teepee pattern ever. The speckles around that top fortification are absolutely gorgeous!
I think because it's a skinny stone, I probably would have used a higher gauge wire to wrap it. The wire seems to be over-powering the stone a bit. The swirls on the top could be scaled back a bit. They look a little big for the size of the stone and if you could make them smaller it would keep the look of the wrap more balanced.
Now, if it were me (and you're not) I would have made what is the bottom of the stone the top so that beautiful fortification would be easier to see (and easier to balance the bail).

That cab is gorgeous!
My honest opinion is that the swirl is a bit much. Or rather, it makes the cab seem unbalanced. It looks like it would tilt to the side if it were on a chain and seems a little heavy for that stone.

Great cab. The wrap looks unbalanced and the bail looks crooked so it detracts from the stone in my opinion. Otherwise it's a great wrap.

So, I was scrolling down the comments and the one that I really agreed with was this one: I like the Teepee too much to let it suffer!
I would just rewrap it. It is such a stunning stone, it deserves it.

I am going to, I just need to get another order of wire in. I think I will try a higher gauge. I haven't found many Teepees with these colors yet, it is pretty unique...

What gauge did you use on this, Mike?

Holy smokes I love the colors in the Teepee! I can't wait to see it again when you get it rewrapped!

What gauge did you use on this, Mike? It was 21 gauge wire. Gonna need 24 probably. Smaller wires are harder to work with because they're a bit more fragile. Just take your time when you redo it and take extra care not to put any kinks in the wires.

One more question: What are the dimensions of the stone? Hard to tell the size of anything from a close-up picture.

Holy crud! Weird shape, shmeird shape. That cab is amazing. Fortifications AND speckles. That’s a definite two-fer (at least). Great wrap. I love the elegantly casual “flung breezily over the shoulder” look.

And that's exactly the look I was going for...
I already tore off the wrap, however.
I have a few findings laying around and I believe I have a cap that might worked glued to one end. That might actually look good, if I can find it in this mess I'll get a picture.
