That 2nd one does it for me with the orb!!!! That's my wife's favorite also. She saw it when I first started shaping it. I only had the first 45 degree grind on the edge...she asked if I was just going to leave it like that because she didn't want me to lose any of the pattern. I told her I "might" have to shape it a little more. LOL Damn! Drop the mic! Those are awesome- all of them! Thanks Tela! Just think...I only have about 91 preforms of these left to go. LOL Oh my! I feel faint ...  Thanks Robin! Next time I'll put a "disclaimer" post first...just so people have time to sit down. LOL - I will admit, Teepee Canyon Agate has definitely become my favorite material to cab - and I feel SO lucky to have been able to have hounded all this myself! |

Killin' it, my friend! Love the yellows in the teepees. They all look great! Thank you my friend! I didn't think I'd really like the yellow in the fortifications...as yellow isn't my favorite color. However, when it comes to these Teepees, I really do gravitate towards the ones with the yellow for some reason. I guess it's because it's something away from the normal red and orange tones... BTW - I loved that picture you posted of the two dogs in the rearview mirror! That was a killer shot...just a flat out "feel good" picture. Stellar work as usual. You are blessed with material and skill. Thanks Quartz! I am very grateful and will readily admit I'm blessed with being able to hound this material...it really is fun to work...and fun to look at! LOL |

I don't know what you're doing different in the polishing department, but whatever it is, its working. This batch and the last one you've gotten an amazing polish on the stones. They're beautiful! Kudos!  |

Those are beautimus! I absolutely love everything about the last one! Thanks Tela! I too REALLY like that last one. It's a low dome compared to most of my cabs. I like the second and third ones the best. The third one is really an "in your face" explosion of color and pattern (I think it looks like an atomic mushroom cloud)...but the second one has some amazing druzy under the surface. I tried for quite awhile to get a better picture of it, but my phone camera won't pick it up adequately. You can make it out in the picture I posted though. ETA - Only three out of the five are teardrops...so I'm branching out on shapes! LOL |
