Hi Ali.
The poppys in your piece look more yellow than the stuff I was thinking of. I like yours better... .
The inside of the multi-colored green chunk looks like some of the "Fancy Jasper" (from India) that we have. Rocks2dust had more experience with Vistaite than anyone else I've ever had any communication with. I don't know anyone else who has a collection like his.
Thanks you! When I first saw it, I immediately thought vistaite. Then after speaking with the kid that was selling his mom's collection, it kind of solidified what my thought was as he was told she self collected in the US. Then I second guessed myself as I thought there was no way I found Vistaite and some of the stuff there was obviously purchased. I know rocks2dust doesn't do much on here anymore but I'd like his thoughts on it.

A little preform of that poppy we picked up Ali, how did this cab turn out? It's fantastic looking material...and I'm hoping the cab is even more stunning!

As you can see they darker area turned grey and the "poppies" faded out a tad. Also what was interesting is that it was kind of "soapy"

That is super interesting the colors faded out like that...
I still think it's some pretty cool material, but I'm sure you were hoping for the colors to be a little brighter.
I think the "soapiest" material I've worked was Serpentine...

It may be faded, but I still like it. I think the "pastel" of the muted colors is very feminine looking.

Agree it is still very pretty. It is way better in person and the shine on it is fabulous
