Tommy found that tube agate. I'm the happy recipient of some. He says it was a fluke and we've never seen anymore. I think what I might have said was I stole some out of the back of AzRockGeek 's truck  I tried to pin him down on exactly where he found it but got nowhere  He probably still has a bunch of it unless he has sphered or sold it. I still have a couple of smaller pieces somewhere if I can find them. LOL! Thief! Thief!
So, you don't know if it came from Burro Creek? Gorgeous stuff!

I think the one I was calling a one-off was the red tubes. I found that 10lb piece in the creek and it was the only one I found and I searched the surrounding area pretty good. I think I sold that one to someone here but I'll try to find a photo.

So, you don't know if it came from Burro Creek? It definitely came from Burro Creek - I was there when Tim brought it back to camp and he had some big chunks of it. I believe he posted pictures on the forum of a beautiful sphere he made from it. |
