YOU GUYS ROCK ... Running out of room for names. ;D
I seem to be spending a lot of time crying lately. They are warm fuzzy tears though, warmed clear through to my heart. I want everyone to see what awesome people there are here, so kind and generous, I am totally amazed and I think my mail lady is ready to quit. ;D (Not really, she's a cool young gal.)
Stefan, the shield you made is so cool. Can't wait for hubby to have time to put it on for me. Plus, cool rocks to play with on my saw. Thank you so much!! That opalized pet wood is gorgeous (the black/yellow shiny one).
Joe, thank you so much for the stuff you sent me. I don't know what the landscape rock is but it's just awesome. I'm going to use some as display rocks for some of my jewelry. There's orthoclase and gneiss and some cool green aventurine too (and a better look at Stefan's sheild).
This is something else Joe sent that he's been making. I think they are great and you should try selling them. Give ebay a try Joe, it can't hurt. What kind of rock did you make this from, it's got shiny specks in it. Check out the landscape rock it's laying on, that stuff is just cool.
Alice when I opened that card and saw your name I almost fell over. I can't believe the extra effort you went through, contacting Banjo and all to send this gift to me. I just sat there and cried. Anyone who has seen a box of the stuff Banjo sends out knows what I'm talking about. Each piece is individually wrapped and marked as to what it is.
KD ... here's a close up of the Chicken Tracks Jasper.
And from Robert, another Banjo box. You should have seen my hubby. He didn't know what to think when he found me sitting on the floor crying with boxes of rocks all around me. He said I was like a kid at Christmas *smile* Thank you so much, I am totally delighted.
I hope you can read some of the names, I have more agate and jasper than I ever imagined there could be. So many of the pieces were on my "wish list".
Banjo, thank you for all you did getting these together and sending them off to me. The card said from Robert and other RTH friends so please forgive me if I missed anyone and please let me know.
And one last final piece that I had to get a close up of. It looks kind of blueish but it's really black, the blue is from the flash.
I laughed so hard when I saw this one ...
drum roll please
I got DINO POO!!
(I think it had the runs)
You all are so wonderful, my only hope is that one day I'll be able to repay you for your kindness to me.
