You've got some nice ones in that batch! Great idea including the tape measure in the pic! A very classic 4-finger hold on the phone I see!

That looks nice! I'll bet they turn out awesome. Do I see a couple Montana moss agates in there??? Those are some of my favorite material, but I'm really bad at doing anything with them.

Thanks Perk. Yes most of that load is MMA. That's my favorite and what I hound for mostly. They're great for tumbling

Hounding is one of the best parts of this hobby.

My experience is that having a few larger ones in the batch (like you've done) really moves the smaller ones along a lot faster. Looks like a well-balanced load. I'll keep my eye out for the finished product.

My experience is that having a few larger ones in the batch (like you've done) really moves the smaller ones along a lot faster. Looks like a well-balanced load. I'll keep my eye out for the finished product. I have been putting a larger rock in most of my coarse runs, as you said it seems to speed up grinding on the others in the batch. I tend to not run those larger rocks thru remaining stages with the rest as it begins to do more damage as it moves forward. I have a backlog of ready for the next stages large pieces. I am hoping to start moving them forward in their own one on one batches in smaller barrels. Waiting for my schedule to get back to some semblance of normal as I am currently overwhelmed with projects and tasks around the house and falling behind with each new day!! forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/97985/large-rock-production-line

Those are looking good Lunk! It felt good to get the vibe going this last week...I got through 120/220, then temps dropped...so I'm going to have to wait a couple more days to get stuff back in for the 500 stage.

Glad to hear your tumbling again jasoninsd. Now you need to start watching for a good facet machine. I showed Isabelle your latest wrap. She loved it.

Excellent material you tumbled! In a few weeks I get to load up my 12#'er with my material... Tumbling glass for a client right now, can't wait till it's gone! 😂 That petwood is going to be killing cool when finished, nice choice...👌
