Cheers Sands - I was wondering what to do about the stickers and how to progress it if people wanted them. Im In for one but feel cheeky about asking someone to post one. After all the voting and whatever - I totally am in the dark at what people want. SERIOUSLY Totally in the dark here and just wanting a sticker (I think I gave up on the technicalities and whatnot - .com or no .com - miner or no miner) Just gimme a flippin sticker

Jack are you going to try and tumble that?
What Im getting at is that theres a lot of different material in each chunk - so from my experience (limited albiet) it wont work in a tumbler.
What have you got in mind for it? I like the blue.

Im all mixed up now - I'd liked to see "Rock Tumbling Hobby" on it (or "Rock Tumbling"). But not really "www.rocktumblinghobby.com" on it. "RTH" alone is a bit too vague? Dunno

Ok, we voted so its number 10. The only debate now is whether or not it has "www.rocktumblinghobby.com" on it. Hmmmm - anyway - whose doing the manufacture of the stickers? I havent a clue where to start but of course will put some lolly in to support it. What i'd like to learn from this thread is who is actually into "printing" etc on the board and who is willing to produce the stickers. Because im not dead sure on whats what there. But in essence - the vote has chosen the design quite outright really ? (ps i got a badge for the wwr trip Ill put a pic up the morrow Ok - so who can do stickers? Cheers Mark

You'd think with all we know that us lot could come up with something like that. I guess you'd say were the "non scientific" branch of the rocks

Sands I messed up first time and renamed all the pics as the wrong number. After uploading them I had to delete them, delete my vote poll and start all over again - it took about and hour LOL Stupid me.

Ok - Ive sorted out the individual designs - so ignoring color and transparency formats - which one should be used as a sticker for cars? Design only - dont consider color or transparency yet. Let the voting begin - Vote closed on Friday 4th May. Cheers Mark Sticker Designs are listed below. Once weve voted on the actual design - I think then we can try for best colors and transparency etc. So with this in mind this vote has the unique designs only. So - In No Particular Order Sticker 1 Sticker 2 Sticker 3 Sticker 4 Sticker 5 Sticker 6 Sticker 7 Sticker 8 Sticker 9 Sticker 10 Sticker 11

LCARS thats a serious amount of work you are doing there - chill mate and dont worry about accuracy so much - it is a downer thing is accuracy and with a brain like yours youve got better things to do than faff with accuracy on a small scale. Mark

Hey up all out there!, A new record on the board for all stat lovers, "Most users online was 47, Apr 16, 2007, 1:38am" Must have been a busy night (well for me it was at night anyway! Apr 16th 07 - a good and unorgansied turn out. Also on the cards, we are still (after 3 or so years) here. MSN LIVE SEARCH (search.live.com) "rock tumbling" - NUMBER 1 YAHOO - "rock tumbling" - NUMBER 1 G*O* (YOU know the rest (please see for info about that company) - "rock tumbling" - NUMBER 1 So all is definately smooth for a good place for rock lovers to remain consistent and functional for ever and longer.

A big thanks to Daniel for the 7 $ to get shut of the ads from g***le.
Hmmm - im more chilled about it now after the initial shock of the ads being splattered into all your threads.
So Im thinking that we should see how things go for a bit and I'll stick the next months 7$ into it.

Ok - loads of ideas. Its too difficult to envisage all the ideas, so just taking it one thing at a time for ease etc. How about (and only refering to car stickers here for the moment) - post in this thread all the options sofar. (Actual pics). Objective is to include - in this thread (background versions, .com or not, wording, fonts variations, with/without pics of hammers or anything else etc) I'll gather them all together under a(some) vote(s) thread(s), and then we can all vote on them. Would that be ok? Upload the pics and i'll try to sort out the voting. Looking forward to this - I hope I can get my hands on one aswell somehow. Cheers - now gimme the graphics and I'll get it sorted thread vote wise. Mark

I like the LCARS one - I like the dropping the .com and separating out the words.
I think RTH is the key - and "Rock Tumbling Hobby" beneath it so far the cleanest.

I placed you both "off the rockin scale" for the mo - I could do with a few ideas here of what could be next inline? Its got to be for blokes or gals at the mo - not sure what words i can put - hmmmmmm tricky this one.
