Also the piece you have looks a lot like angle plated quartz I find it a lot in quartz veins looking for crystals.

Hi James I love the Savannah River Agate. I collect there a lot also. We hit a new spot in the spring with a lot of Greens, Reds and some purple. It makes awesome cabs and takes a GREAT shine. Keith

Nice cabs! Mel all I use is wood not painted golf tees and 5 min epoxy and have never had one come off. When you are finished just put under the hot water in the sink for a few sec. and take a knife blade and it will come right off. Keith
