Thanks for the comments everyone. I believe it is wood opal for several reasons. The waxy look, the lighter than agate feel and the fracturing just like obsidian. it's very glassy, cuts and chips flake off just like obsidian/opal. And I pulled it out of my crate of rough from Virgin Valley. According to opal identifier guides on the web, it is called Lithoxyl Opal.

Thanks everybody! I waited so long because I couldn't see a cab until just three days ago. I have been cutting this shape for two months or so. Also because I need to eat and rocks are a little too crunchy. I listed it before bed last night and awoke to a sold email. ;D It's going to it's new home in Pennsylvania. I love my cabs and it's hard to let them go but, After selling 700 stones it gets a little easier Geoff
