Wow, that machine is in fine shape. The wheels look gently broken-in. I wish I had a Genie is such fine condition. Congratulations. Everything is as it was from the factory, including the little knob thingy. My Genie is from 1986 and I got it used. I cranked it up the first day and it's been running for 3.5 years, no problems.
Yours looks like it just needs to get covered in rock snot then it will be just fine.

Beautiful stone Fran. Yes it is normal for the cell walls to take on a raised effect from the differing hardness. Great job!!

Hi everyone ;D Being slightly color blind (red/green), I'm not too sure if these colors look good on your monitors. I proudly showed my wife pics and all she could say was "let me see the stone, these colors are off". I had Iphoto enhance these shots, do they look ok? This stone looks like it has a light inside that goes green to red when tilt it New lighting: Old lighting Thanks for looking Geoff

Definitely what Shannon said. The standard for "flawless" diamonds is no flaws @ 10x magnification so, no real need for anything stronger. I have 20x from the print shop and it's a little strong for what we need. Therefore a 10x loupe could be a good investment.

For my orchid!! ;D The little dendrobium orchid from the southern hemisphere, where it's summer time. They have two seasons, wet and dry. Of course being tropical the dry is much wetter than our dry times. It's fragrant, not too many are and it's my 2nd year wedding gift from my wife. Have a great day, Geoff
