I'm not so sure that is normal, but we have discussed this here in the past.
I have 3 UV-10 bowls, 1 which had the black slough off and 2 which did not.
I believe there are numbers on the bottom of all these bowls - a small number in a circle.
My bowl with a #4 on the bottom was the one that lost material, and the bowls with #3s (I think, it has been awhile) never did that. May have the #s mixed up.
Maybe it was a "bad" production run of bowls?

Great thread and pictures! Thanks for taking the time to post it all. These poorly formed corals ...  Is this just because they haven't had enough time to finish cooking yet? Would another hundred thousand years make a difference, or are they just what they are? |

I read this and the first thing that came to mind was when I look at the caller ID on the phone and don't recognize the number. I don't answer calls I don't know.

Looks like a peaceful trip whether you scored big or not. That big head between your feet is impressive! Bet you wanna know what is inside. I would. Seems you could cut it open with a cement saw by cutting all the way around the shell.

What is this registration you mention? We don't register guns in Florida. Tracking??
And private sales are private. No records.
Only records are the 4473 forms that must be filled out if going through a FFL dealer. And the .gov isn't supposed to be able to access those either without a warrant.
I was being facetious about losing my gun in a boating accident.
That's the oldest (joke) excuse in the book.
Although, I did have my boat flipped over once!
ETA: asked about any gun that could be linked back to me, I can just say "I sold that".
But, if someone shows up at my door looking for guns, we've got bigger problems that that.

Here is a picture of my lost gun  *sniffle*  A thigh holster? uh... no. I just ordered another holster and a couple mag holders today for a gun class I have in Nov. Needed gear for off side carry. Have friends in south Alabama and Georgia on my gun forum saying the water moccasins are WAY worse this year than any year they can recall. You notice any on your trip?

Certain you have some stories as much time as you spent on water. I've got a real nice (film camera) picture of me sitting/kneeling on top of the bottom of my up side down boat in my those were the GOOD days photo album. A boat flipping over (long story) can make for an interesting day. |

Having thought on it, I'm back before spending the evening with the wife unit just to add -
"Have a Blessed weekend" was a nice touch. I say have a Blessed day to many as we part.
