Well, I guess the only thing that was gonna stop me was the perfect storm. Looks like Hurricane Sandy is gonna head up the coast and kiss the island we've been on for the past five weeks. After I got this cab done I had to break down my work area so we can evacuate tomorrow morning and head inland. So, until my next cabbing spree... this is nothing that will knock your socks off, it's one of my moonstones from my home collecting area in PA. An Albite Moonstone. The Moonstone has an olive color and there is a smattering of Smoky Quartz. It has a silvery sheen when turned in bright light. Everybody up the northeast coast, you all stay safe. Thanks to everybody for cheering me along with all the cabs I've done in the past week. Jo

Haha... silly kitty. Sorry, I should have said weathered instead of worn. I've seen weathered feldspar look like that.
