The ratsnake pictured on the gourds was the first rat snake I've killed in the 15 years I've lived here.Wrong place, wrong time for me.I have close to a hundred nesting compartments of various kinds, and have gotten some different tenants over the years! snuffy

Sometimes all 8 scream in harmony. Feeding time, not starving as they are butterballs. The breeze alerted then to food prep prematurely. Their noses are very sensitive. Almost 5 weeks and are going to the pen in a few days TG. Ha,played this for Buddy!!! You shoulda heard him!!! snuffy

Jim, I will tell what pisses me off. Its the do gooders like you, Rich and Mr. zulu that prance around claiming to earths soldiers. Bad mouthing the oil industry every chance you get. But have the nerve to enjoy the benefits that oil has brought all of us. Like I said before, stop using oil and its products. Trust me by tonight you all would cold and shivering in you cave or stick hut. Walk you talk or just shut the f**kup. Sorry but that rigger talk. Straight and to the point, if that offended anyone. I'm sure Obama has a safe space for you. Member block, don't see their stupid sh#$!!! Works great for me!!! A few post only to stir up crap, contribute nothing otherwise. snuffy

We had a corker last night. Between 3 and almost six inches at different spots here on the ranch. Ground was already super saturated so it all ran off in flash floods. Took out every water break on the place. Spent the afternoon with a crew repairing just two of them where we were threatened with having our cattle escape through the washed out fences. I'm whupped, really too old for this sh*t....Mel We were in Austin last night for an outdoor wedding.Quite a light show in your direction.Luckily it didn't rain where we were! Speaking of the water gaps,we had 5 between us and our neighbors.Everytime we had a big rain,we had to go check them and put them back up.Dang if they seemed to be all our gaps, neighbors didn't seem to have any! snuffy

Wow. A turd floater snuffy. Hope it doesn't drown anything. Sun came out, tomatoes and cucumbers wilting. Even though they are on raised beds, just too much water, around 12-14 inches all told. snuffy

Round 2 hit us hard at 2am this morning. Weather said they had a "spin-up" just 7 miles south of me. More high winds and rain. Still more thunderstorms coming for the next 4 days or more. Where are you located at Somerville? I saw videos of the town flooded,36 under water from yesterday. My wifes family reunion is supposed to be held in a couple weeks at Yegua.Don't know if that's gonna be happening!! snuffy

Confirmed tornado in Bryan, Texas today. More possible tornados about 10 miles south of me and moving east. I am ok but I am not sure about SNUFFY. We are expecting more severe weather tonight. I have had over 7 inches of rain in the last 6 hours and high winds. Again, I am safe so far. I'm okay over here! I posted on member photographs earlier!!Brenham got more rain than we did.Stay dry.Tornadoes were a tad south of me! snuffy

Panamark asked me to post a pic of the slabs after the run was finished. These were all cut and polished this period. My saws have a smooth cut. This was 5 Lortone 12lb barrels.I get 2 Loto loads from a barrel,so 10 Loto loads.I use 1 lb of 60-90 per barrel, run unopened 18-21 days. Then 2 days 500 in Loto, and 2 days ao polish. Card table full. Angle shot Thanks for looking all! snuffy

Emu's ? Anyone brave enough to farm a bird that can disembowel you. Many folks I know around here spent many thousands of dollars getting in that giant pyramid scam to get rich raising emus!! Talk to any of them and they were totally convinced this was the wave of the future. All I can say whoever did the seminars and got these folks hooked was very good at their job!! Have a first cousin that hadn't raised a farm animal in her life sunk around $30,000 in pens and a couple little emus.I tried to temper her enthusiasm, but didn't.Just wished her luck. snuffy And no,I wasn't one of them!!!
