If there's time, I'm gonna take him for a ride in the hotrod. Look out Aberdeen, Littlefoot & an old goat are headed to town. Damn Mike, ain't it time for you to pay a visit to your N.D. relatives ? Just a short hop down here.

Not a good pic. Editor feature in Photobucket isn't working. This is an end cut from the block that has been sitting out in the sunlight since 1996. ![](http://i907.photobucket.com/albums/ac274/jakesrocks/Missing%20agate/100E2822_zps3hjwux8g.jpg)

Jan, the howlite is old stock Tic Canyon, Cal. material. The purple is a type of onyx. Not sure of the location on that one.

Jan, when I get a couple minutes I'll wash off a piece of the Crestmore Quarry blue & get a pic to post here. Found this pic. This is a cube I cut for a friend to make a sphere out of. (middle cube). ![](http://i907.photobucket.com/albums/ac274/jakesrocks/101_0043.jpg)

Hey, those of us who are old will have this question clarified soon enough *L*. Got to say, I've actually seen a ghost and our clubhouse ( an old ranchhouse from yesteryear) here is quite haunted. Footsteps from the upstairs during our meetings when there ain't no one else in the house can be somewhat unsettling till you get used to it I don't give the afterlife, if there is any, much thought. Figure it's either nothing or the next big adventure. I figure, enjoy the life you have now and don't worry about what comes next cause you've got no control over it anyway.....Mel Hey Mel, bet I get there before you do. ![(cheers)](//storage.proboards.com/1258779/images/JaWOk0IeEkImElgYrjAd.gif) Already making plans. A rockin buddy will be up here in the next couple of weeks. I told him to bring plenty of buckets, so he can clean out my rock shed. I have enough stored in the basement to last me my remaining years, months or days. (Whichever the case may be). I ain't scared of death. It will be an end to all of the aches, pains & creaky joints of old age. I'll probably tell them to shove my most valuable Fairburn in my mouth, & sew my lips shut. That one's going with me. ![P-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/pirate.png) Bring it on Grim Reaper. I'm waiting for you. But be warned, I'm one ornery old fart. ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png)

The Cajon Pass is on fire, and over here we're having severe thunder storms. Tornado's just a few miles east. Little town of Webster just lost power. Tornado right over them. Gonna be a rough night.

Very ccareful work with optivisors & dental picks will probably do the job if your rock isn't too delicate. Dental picks & surgical blades are your friends for all kinds of delicate work. Also the kind of files used for wax carving. They don't clog up like regular needle files will.

Explosives ? C-4 removes all sorts of stuff.
If it's epoxy or an epoxy type glue, soaking in acetone may take several hours. Try heating a sewing needle & sticking it in the adhesive. If epoxy based, you should be able to smell it.

Jan, where is your blue calcite from ? Most will fade in direct sunlight, but the blue from Crestmore quarry in California, and a location I can't remember in France are both color stable in sunlight. I have a couple pieces of the Crestmore blue that have been sitting at the south west corner of my garage since 96. They are still just as blue as when I put them there.

More real funny shit. Sure would like to set off a firecracker under the guy reaching for the flag. I'd rather set the firecracker on a pointed pole, and have him come down straddling it. ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png)

Someone should add the NAACP to that list. They need removed from the face of the earth.
Now about that dildo. Was that a battery operated or a strap on ? Did it have big ears on it & resemble Obama ?

LOL. Those are the kind of bidders I like to play games with. I run them up as high as I dare go. Makes the seller happy, and I get to laugh at the fool bidder for paying several times more than the item was worth.

That Washington flag has to go since Washington was a slave owner. And how about that Hawaii flag with the flag of the UK in the corner ? How dare they display a British flag on American territory.

BTW Why wasn't there any bitching when the Whited House was lit up pink? It was bathed in pink light in support of the fight against breast cancer. Does anyone in the entire country find that cause offensive? A pretty far cry from being lit up in the rainbow colors in support of a pro homosexuality issue don'tcha think? Does anyone in the entire country find that concept offensive? ![>:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/superangry.png) Cancer cells were offended by the pink light. Time to ban the color pink. ![(insane)](//storage.proboards.com/1258779/images/sjMRQMtnaKnKaqKFYToi.gif)

(Quoting Lee) Then there's the Presidents personal war on racism, a howling success, right?
How can Ocommie have a personal war on racism, when he's a racist himself ? When was the last time you heard Ocommie mention the white half of his heritage ? He hasn't since before the first time he was elected. And he won't, because he's prejudiced against the white race.
My piss a liberal off, crossed rebel flags lapel pin should be here in todays mail. Ebay missed one seller, and I managed to order one before they blocked the add. LOL
