Do like I did with my granddaughter. Have them pick it up and look at it. Next, have them smell it, then ask them to lick it. Finally explain what it is.

Has anyone else received some coprolite from Randy in one of these new medium flat rate boxes? I sent out about 30 MFRB's last week and only used the same ones that have been around for a couple of years. I didn't know there's a new version, is it smaller? Randy, I was just jesting. The photo of the new box is a Cologuard poo poo box.

They pretend they're interested in the apple trees but they're actually scheming how to steal coprolites. I don't know Randy. the one with the horns has different ideas.

Sold two knives and took a custom order for one before we left Santee recently. The day after we got home our local rock shop called me to get some more. A man had bought three, one for himself and two for his grown up sons. My friend bought the remainder of my small inventory to put in his store for Christmas. Taking a break right now after a marathon of knife making. I now have eight made for starters to get ready for the holidays. Here's two made from Buffalo River flint from TN. Cedar handles this time. The largest knife in the photo is 9 1/2" from end to end. Positive responses I've been getting from folks are about the quality of the knapping and those one of a kind "awesome" handles.

Nice story. When I saw the title I thought it was about the Don Johnson movie.

I used to do knapping demonstrations at a few state parks in GA and SC. I would let the kids get an arrowhead out of a box that I held up so they couldn't see what they were getting. This always went with a caution to the younger kids not to put them in their mouth.

One thing for sure, the post office will get the heavy packages to their proper destination. They don't want to handle heavy boxes more than they have to.
**Edit: I once mailed six large flat rate boxes from Flint Ridge Ohio to myself. I got home before the boxes did and was able to enjoy the sight of them being delivered. I met the postal worker at my mailbox with a hand truck. She asked "What in the world do you have in them, ROCKS?" We put a bottle of wine in the mailbox for her at Christmas.
