Thanks wampidy/ Jim. I would love to see some of your pink granite, maybe even purchase a little piece of it, slabbed up or that will fit on my little saw, I have a collection of several hundred cabs too.... I like to sell and trade them....lolol... But mostly, I just like to run my fingers through them. The stone in question is not mine... I had the pics, but did not keep any links.... Obviously, I was not anticipating the results I got here. So, without more work than I want to engage in right now, I do not have access to those photos. I would even be willing maybe trade a small Thomsonite for granite.... It is an exclusive Northshore Minnesota gemstone, and what I have is all small, but spectacular stuff!! The market is pretty stiff for the stuff, but I have a pretty good source, where I have been able to pick up supply at a price that i can live with. Here are some I have listed.... these are just a couple of them: www.etsy.com/shop/mnblarneystone/search?search_query=thomsonite&order=date_desc&view_type=list&ref=shop_search

Thanks Geoff v2.0, wampidy, and jamesp. I copied the pics and linked them back to facebook... So those that cared could hop back there, and see them better. I don't have the real drive to go find them and put them back up here. It looks like she has moved past it too. And...lol.... guess my feelings are a bit raw still, although I appreciate the genuinely friendly approach you guys have taken. Far as I could tell, it looked like a nice big piece of pinkish limbcast petrified wood.... She is a Reiki healer.... and stones have energy.... take that or leave it.... some believe in Ghosts and some do not... and so on...She felt that this one had some bad energy, and because it was where it was.... in the middle of New Hampshire, in the middle of a pinewood forest.... It didn't seem to belong where it was found. She is a rock lover, and uses them in her work. It made her feel bad.... as in bad energy. I simply tried to help her ID the stupid rock. The unfortunate part was, that I gave all the folks that were in that thread the link to this thread....only to have the reactions that I got here. It never started out as a big deal.... I truly hope that my none of other friends from that thread, came here to see the ridicule. I am not going to spend the energy to go find that thread, and repost all of that... But If I find another that I need help with, I know who I will go to... and those who I will avoid. Thanks again. I am a little past rookie.... www.etsy.com/shop/mnblarneystone?view_type=list

Looking at the snarky replies here..... It is hard to be an outsider in a clique. He that took his posts and ran is a she.... She is me. It looked like opalized wood to me.... BUT you guys were so busy telling me that my friend with the rock in question was off on drugs and that the rock was not interesting, that you never answered my question. Ya know.... my friend (A regular here)referred me here, and my friend thinks very highly of some of you. I have dealt with several people here, and they have been the ultimate in professional and really nice.... I just can't believe the slap in the face you folks are administering, and how badly you have hurt my feelings. I sincerely hope you are having fun. I will just leave the site, if this is the welcome you give to people that try to help others.....Thanks.
Excuse the heck outta me.

Uhh... still trying to figure out what makes that an interesting rock.. Well, I'm surprised more people didn't encourage you... but you are talking about rock collectors/hounds who've been at it all over the world, and have unbelievable rock prizes in their collections... so they're a bit picky I guess:). I like reading interesting stories about rocks!! And also... you know, that rock is sort of pinkish... it may well be really interesting inside. The photo posted really wasn't clear enough to tell what it might be even. But pink rocks are always in demand:). Sorry Helens, stuff like this really sorta takes the fun outta trying to help a friend. I had my own opinion about the rock in question. But was hoping to hear something other than "My friend took some good drugs" or..... /\ what is above. QUOTE: Posted by foxtail Jun 5, 2013 at 7:42pm I suspect that woman has done too many drugs to believe the crap she believes. I have not lost faith in this site.... just really discouraged with the lack of respect and camaraderie I have found here on this thread.

I took down what I could. Thanks for your input. Guess there was nothing to learn about it. I have been told you guys were helpful and really nice. I will try again sometime. Sadly I even pointed her over here to touch base with you all, for a chat and advice... Guess I am glad she didn't look.

Hi Tony,
I want *one* more LFR box of the tumbling rough. Some lighter colored material if possible. Please confirm that it is available along with your PP addy again. Bill me, through request payment for goods, and I will pay as soon as I see it. My delivery address will be on the payment.
I loved the other two... so I decided I need one more box of lighter colored stuff.
Thanks so much!!
Terri

Hi Tony,
I need 2 LFRB of your rough.... PM me with your PP addy, and a total. I am not new to RTH. I just do not post a lot. I have done Biz with Bo, and Marie Frazier Burgess is a good friend. I would like some tumbling rough, and anything you can send that is a bit larger. Not choosey, a handful each from lotsa buckets is fine... I would like some color.... Green is good!! LOL.
I only have a small mole hill here, and am working on a Minnesota mountain range....
Thanks!!
