a brake bleeder gun, A jar that will hold the liquid and the slab you are trying to stabilize and as long as it seals and you can put a vacuum to it exactly... paste this into ebay Hand Held Vacuum Tester and Pump Brake Bleeder Kit or similar

Ever since I made that 'one ring' it just keeps following me!
Yeah, killer material, especially the red coral. We have some fossil coral this side of the pond, but in limestone, not silica, it is grey - but very, very old.

Over at my page "Jawless Fish From The Lower Devonian Lost Burro Formation, Death Valley National Park, California" --they're obviously not what most folks would immediately recognize as fossil fish material. No ... but now I've got my 'eye in' I'll consider myself further educated! Thanks for the lead.

metalsmith I've read and printed the mindat one but I can't find those diet packets anywhere, I also tried another one from YouTube but had to stop watching it because then man doing the presentation talked so much about everything else also that it drove me crazy 😂😂 I've managed to stabilize a few but more came out wrong than right. The 2 part epoxy that you put in a jar of acetone was an epic fail 😂 I am currently trying a new method. If it works I'll share! Anyone else want to share their experiences I To Am Awaiting with note book and pen ready! Did you vacuum the container? On one youtube video I saw, the chap was pumping away and said 'can you see the bubbles'. I thought 'heck no' too far away / poor image quality, but you could ... they were streaming out. And where air is streaming out then the stabiliser must be streaming in. Or did something else go wrong instead?

Not in my world. We don't hand out participation trophies here. A man (person) ain't worth spit if their word means nothing. That lesson often takes more than a couple bad feedback on a meaningless account. Save the coddling and pats on the head for a puppy. Scott was correct in that this is a "wtf" worthy situation. By the above, perhaps I need to clarify that I meant he won't be the first and he won't be the last. Plenty of folk make this mistake. But then if I were to see a chap trying to keep his head above water I would rather throw him a hand than a brick.

Is breach of contract in the guidelines on eBay, or is that just a general life lesson? Yeah, you decide up front what price you will start at, whether you want to put a reserve on it. If you choose a low start and no reserve, that is your gamble that more buyers might be interested in it and bid each other up. If they don't you have to accept the final bid price. If you want / need to achieve $x so that you've not made a loss, cover your purchase, time and running costs, you should set this out from the start. You're not alone in this, don't worry.

melhill1659 was just asking on a sales thread about stabilising turquoise. I have a little I need to stabilise, so I was watching with quiet interest. The vendor politely refused saying his recipe was bad for one's health. I wonder if anyone has any stabilising recipes that they would share and recommend from their experience? I found the following links were relevant, but again, am asking for people's experience. Rock Tumbling Hobby of course! GanoksinmindatSciencing

Ughhh..... There is no such thing as "renegotiations". Doesn't exist. Wtf? No, I agree. That's called breaking (or breach of) contract. That's why you got negative feedback. The deal had been formed. But don't dwell on this. Clearly this is part of your education in business matters. Learn the lesson (I think you have) and move on. Not just 'move on'; move forwards. Come on Scott, Adam needs some encouragement; he has already had his due put down with the feedback he got in ebay. Be nice; don't rub his face in it.

I saw this advertised after 5 minutes and waited a further 15 for anyone else to chip in. Fair opportunity, but at the end of the day, I'll take it Phil. Put it in that box for me please! was thinking about the shipping problems..... today, while sitting on the think tank, the light came on..... all out of country must go FedEx. need to check prices, but should be comparable. THey do their own customes, carry their own insurance which is good in all countries (unlike USPS who won't insure foreign postings) and get it there in 3 to 5 days to boot, Not 2 months.... win win... and it gives you a bigger box equivalent! I have to admit I'm not as familiar with US postal as you guys will be. Yes, if you can research the prices that would be good. Scott (shotgunner) previously sent me a SFRB without issues towards the RTH tumbling competition. Of course I had asked the cost of postage. That was where I had obtained my ball park of $30 from. I have the parcel that Diane (drocknut) sent right here. It is a US Postal Service envelope. I'll weigh it later. Not much padding (no criticism - it was rough) but robust enough and got here fine. I was expecting to pay shortly over $30 for post, but the total came in lower than expected, though I don't know whether this was down to a small postal cost saving or because Diane gave me a good deal. I noted the sale of some rough on ebay. This was a relatively large amount and was to be shipped to the UK in a MFRB at $80. Probably this is too much and likely too big. If I can afford that much Kingman / Bisbee, I'll buy you guys all a drink. But it would be good to know the costs and what wiggle room there is in the box. Let me know your findings and thanks for your patience and going to the trouble of finding out. At this point ($125 of waterweb!!) I think the choice of taking out insurance would be a worthwhile consideration too. Many thanks kind regards Chas

It's a great little wrap. I was going to suggest that maybe the wire is quite thick for the size of cab, but I suspect the cab is small and the wire is fine. It's a tidy job, great work.

So they have the received package & goods? They should paypal the payment then. If the buyer gets a refund, which they will, then I don't see ebay gaining anything, just the 'buyer' gaining a valuable freebe.

Phil, what was the ebay guy's handle Don't want to post that kind of info as I blame it on India's mail system. Fair enough. From what you say, the fact that the buyer only allowed the bare minimum time before claiming against you, it sounds like he stiffed you with intention from the outset. I have particular respect for your decision. When only positive action is passed forward, the world is a better place.

Ebay just screwed me out of $140, so I'm done posting there.... Oh... for photos, do we still need to use photobucket or can we now attach photos here? Wow; sorry to hear. How did that arise? Yes, we still need to use photobucket or similar. And yes I could be interested in some material, particularly the blue stuff.
