So incredible - there is something so unique and special about making a rock that you dug from the ground shine...Even though the cabs aren't polished, they are truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I we t by my "local" rock shop and was looking to see if the had any of this material in rough. He told me they "probably don't let it leave the country, must have been 20 years since it was openly sold as rough on the market" and my heart sunk. Do you know this to be true or can you point me in the direction of someone who sells it???

Thanks so much for the support guys, sometime I really feel like a misunderstood freak when it comes to my fascination with all things rock! My finger is almost completely healed now, tho I don't think I'll be getting the feeling back. It's no biggie because it's on the top of my finger and I don't use it for hauling or cabbing! Thanks for asking Radio Oh and that is a dish towel, not the unmentionable, yucky thing that was hinted at - ugh!!!

Thanks for you reply, I feel kinda silly posting my novice finds here. I am glad the picture posting worked out, I'll update to this thread with some preforms with this material and hopefully they will be more presentable.

Thanks for making me feel like a dumb a$$ and thanks for the welcome! I think that's cool that you can play with pictures like that, I'll be lucky if I can figure out how to post pictures.

Is that a real picture or photoshopped??? I love the blue coral and agate, being that most of the stuff I get comes from here in the Bay Area, I never see that color or quality - jealous!

Incredible rock! The lighting looks great, I really thing good lighting makes a huge difference in marketability. It is also great for those of us that can't afford to buy such pretty specimens from all over the world, the pictures are so good, it seems like the rock is just under the screen!
