Any faceting machines, or at least the mast and head assembly?

The beads are from (according to the supplier) Beijing, China. I have had them for a while. The heart is from a new supplier who's partner has a mine in S. America. I assumed that was the reason for the color difference , but then again I am a noob, lol

All the stones are Emerald, they're just from two different areas. Ok, you've busted me, lol, I used to do leather murals 1. Front of Vest 2. Back of Vest

I must confess, I received the beads already done, but the heart I did from scratch. All the pieces are emerald, from two different areas, hence I couldn't match the color exactly. I made it as a freebie gift for a friend to give to his wife. On your big heart, how did you connect the two slabs ? Superglue?

Wow, that's a great heart!!! How did you join the two pieces? Also, what a coincidence, I thought I had an original (at least original for me, lol) idea and just finished this tonight It's a lot smaller than yours, lol

Howdy all, This is my second creation, a emerald heart necklace. A friend at work mentioned his wife likes emeralds, so I asked him if he would mind if I made him a necklace to give to his wife. I told him I am a beginner in making jewelry and it would give me something to create. So here it is, it pales in comparison to what I have seen on here but we gotta start somewhere, thanks for looking. 1. Picked out an emerald close to the color of the emerald beads I already had
2. Decided it would make a good heart
3. Went about bringing the heart out
4. Polished it up (it's not wet, good lighting makes it look REAL shiny 5. Drilled a hole on top, put a silver loop in it, and ran the string of beads
Hmmmmm, I guess I should have asked him what size of a neck his wife has but how do you ask that and not sound rude? lol, oh well, I made it 17 1/2", hope she likes it. Thanks for looking

Thanks for the info, that gives me a direction to look for how the mast is supposed to be. When it gets here I will have to measure it and custom make up dops, thanks, every bit of info helps

Still in the process of cleaning the saw, there was about half an inch of old dried oil/rock dust coating the entire interior. It's looking better but I still have a ways to go.

Yep, that's why I love this place, lots of knowledge from good folks. Most my tools I either buy broken or missing most the parts and then rebuild it to fit my needs, I figure this way will be the best (cheapest ) way for me to learn how to use them if I completely know how they work
