I was thinking the same thing about the co vid. You describe the area as a common place where these can be found. If you are positive a face mask will help a little for the spread but you need to self quarenteen for the safety of others. It is very irresponsible of you. How about all the rocks you licked when you were out? I also wonder if its cool to cut up a rock some artist painted lapidary grade or not. The rock gods won't like it.

So me being a little slow read the rules finally. I see the word simple and no gem embellishments. So patterned wire and the such like balls, sawing, do dads as long as they are metal is OK? Mixed metal?

I think Vince wanted to see a couple bigger pieces. One is 60 lbs plus the other 40.

I gave my uncle some tumbles 10 years ago and my cousin claimed the little collection since his passing. She just asked if I had any Bumblebee tumbles. She just needs a half dozen about inch or inch and a half. I could also use a pound or two of mixed tumbles in that size also to fill her platter. I turned all I had into magnets. Still need stuff? I have zero bumblebee but I have plenty of bowl filler Yep sure do. Can trade or cash is king.

Nice, might be Hornitos poppy jasper. You should price it accordingly if it is.

Our dishwasher is a nice KitchenAid with slimline touch controls on top of the door. If you don’t clean the control panel often enough it will shut itself off during the wash cycle. my fridge is a 15 year old kenmore no whistles no bells, my dish washer is from the Philippines and has size 5 feet so she can get closer to the sink.

How about a smithing instead of a wrapper.

It's hard to be sure from an image, but it looks like either sugilite or richterite to me. The two are often found in association, with sugilite trending toward purple and richterite toward blue. The inclusions of matrix are a tip-off to me, as they're somewhat typical of the way some of the material is cut. Stones without matrix grade higher of course. It can be a bear to polish well. This is a deep darker purple than the pic.

Found this in a bag of odd shaped cabs. Can scratch it with a dental pic (see the back). Has a little orange peeling on front.
