Well it may well be an agate, I don't think it is a fortification agate. We do find other type agate in MN like moss, water level. What that pattern reminds me of is fossilized lake bed or coral. I might have one I found here in IL in my truck which I will take a pic of, that is if I didn't give it away. Mary Ellen jasper is fossilized algae and some of it comes in a mat form which ther pattern not the stone reminds of what you have and has been formed in layers. We do have gray lakers from time to time and there is a pit in Carlton MN that is know for gray lakers.

looks like some fossilized sea bed and fossils I find in southern WI and northern IL. The second to the last pic might be showing some corral.

Dang, you have some lucky duck customers. All those freebies!
Great job on all of it, as usual. Absolutely adore the purple pendant (mohave turquoise?).
Yep I think that is what they call it. You know what the luck duck said? "If it don't rain I'll walk" A friends mom used to say that...still don't understand it.

Good to see you got some time in Every one is like Tela said... bad ass The ring reminds me off a fortune tellers ball. I didnt realize the box was handmade. Makes it even more special. Is it from local wood? Yes local cedar I had left over when I built my Sauna and Bee Hives.

Nice work! I really like your boxes, too! Do you make or buy them? It looks like you've packed some extra cabs in that one box. Packing material??? I started making them, then conned a friend into making them for me. Made from local cedar and some reclaimed redwood. Pack them with small tumbles.

While I think it is fine to offer a discount if you feel comfortable doing so, there is also nothing wrong with a reply that states your listed price is fair and therefore no discount can be offered. I have sold automobiles, woodworking tools, high end musical instruments, etc. with this strategy. Just because many people look for a discount does not mean one has to be offered. I will say my refusal to discount was always very respectful. I will also admit to not like haggling and will not go beyond "Is that your best price?". Just not in my DNA. Al I love to haggle, guess I got that gene. If I like the person and they won't give me a reasonable price and they say make an offer I always say I wouldn't want to insult you and good luck. If they say insult me ..game on. I love a deal

I got a kick out of the kitten being a kitten Amazon brought a big box of kitten toys today to supplement what he has. It looked like Kitty Christmas in here! Even Cat got it in on the action. can't wait to see what he looks like after a few days in the lotto when you get it

I want to put a tumbler on my mobile machine at work. It runs about 5 hrs a day. What happens if it shuts down for the other 19 hrs or over the week end for that matter. will the mud solidify? How long can it sit safely?

"how I can get them down from the mines." Roll them down the hill? Sorry . . . I had to do it! James This is one of the pieces I want to get out intact as much as possible. The whole vein is about 9 feet long and the middle is about 4 inches thick and hard. So I expect it to weigh about 300-600 pounds for what I hope to get out intact.
So will that be a specimen or working material. If working material I would take a gas concrete saw up and slice it up. a 9 ft rock depending might be a ton or more a 3x3x3 ft rock is around 3000 lbs.
