Love the Clay Canyon. You did it justice. I acquired a museum quality slab a few years ago and gifted it to a friend, he will enjoy it more than I. I will say it again- You are the nicest guy. You must have a ton of good karma stored up. Maybe enough to last a week.

Such a great shine on ME. It's really awesome. I saw some pieces that were green and red. Definitely need to search for some of that. I know alot of it comes out of Biwabik. Which is by you right? Do you know if you can snorkel the pit? I have a big piece of green that I will be cutting when I get a new pulley for my 24 inch saw. Don't see green very often but it out there. Biwabik is not to far but never explored that area. I can't snorkel in any pit.

last two winters I have had my hives die, very tough winters. I have two left up north and got one in NM this spring. What strain do you have? I'm trying to convince my dad to try MN Hygienic to see of they will be a little hardier in the winter. he has buckfast now I have italians right now. Have tried Russian bees and also carnolian. Carnolians seem the best for me. A neighbor and I were trying to acclimate bees for harduness and raise our own but 3 years seems to bee the longest we can get a hive to live and if you have one die and bring in those bees from Calif you've wrecked your genetics.

Billy, would your bear grease be good on boots worn while riding a horse through thick and thin in all kinds of weather except snow? Thanks. I would think so, I have a mule skinner, farrier friend who said when I get home he wants another round. Said hes never found anything better. i use it on my boots and its great.

Hello, The first piece is an Adze. If you look closely at the ends, one will have a slight curve to it and maybe some polish from wood working. The basal-notched piece is a Calf Creek (5,400 - 4,500 B.P.) and was used as a knife blade. Sorry, not sure on the type of chert. All the best, Michael Interesting Mr. Michael, so what does the B.P. stand for and thanks a lot.

I profess my ignorance up front. What is the top one used for...skinning blade? Sweet finds. I am usually happy to find flint chips. I don't usually find much either. The pit I am working in dredges the river and they are floated down stream. I think it was originally going to be a spear head. You can see the indent where they started it on the end. My guess they broke the tip and turned it into a scraper. We were standing by the pickup and they had a berm of screened material and I said to the guy next to me "that looks worked" and sure enough.

Nice. Love the last one. Intact points are hard to find. Do you know the material made from and approximate period? The arch on the bottom is throwing me. All the points in the area are kind of cherty material. No idea on the period, seems kind of large, wonder what they hunted with it.

Are these from rattlehead? He has the best eye and potential from the nodules. Even though I collect these myself in MI, if you haven't sold them by the time I get back to NM I will buy them from you.

These make great cabs, rattlehead was making spheres out of them and the outcome was great.
