They all look really great! Perhaps it’s just me but I like the more natural look of rocks not just super round tumbles. Those last two are beautiful! I’m assuming they are agate but are the a certain type? My guess is Botswana Agate. So beautiful, both before and after! The one on the right is definitely Botswana. If I remember right, the one on the left is something else, but I can't remember what it is. There are many different clear-to-white fortified agates that have come my way, I just can't place this one. Thanks for jumping in there to help out with an answer, I have been negligent in my reply duties.

Thank you! Will definitely be going back! I thought I had collected enough to last me long enough until I get bored with the material but now I don't know if that's possible lol. I have an uncle who lives In Lima, Ohio that we plan on staying with for a week or so next summer. It's a 2.5 hr drive each way from his house and as long as plans don't change then il definitely be going back at least once that week. I was bit worried that it would be difficult to find good material since I'd heard there has been big uptick in visitors there since pandemic. But we found lot of material that way exceeded my expectations. Lots of crystal and druzy material too so great fun for kids also. Plus it's good size area to collect with at least 8-10 good size pits several feet deep and can dig anywhere. And it's in the woods so there was tons of shade. We were only ones there when we went. It was awesome time and I'd recommend that anyone who has chance to go should take it. There's probably enough people on this forum in love with this material, that you could take "orders" and help pay for the trip! LOL Noted.

Happy Birthday, Randy Garage Rocker . It's always a pleasure when you check in. Hope your special day is one to remember. (Make it Epic!) It's one of the big ones, Jean. Fortunately, I am bad with all things calendar related, my age included. I will forget by next week.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone. No rocks today, but I have been back to tumbling for the last few months. Today has been about beach time with the family and a little body surfing. A good day, so far.

Beautiful cabs! I'm a big fan of Flint Ridge material, also. I'll give you several different looks.

Amazing batch, Chuck, and great presentation, too. Your tumbles have always been top notch, but your pictures now show them off like they deserve. Thanks for sharing! I can't pick a favorite.

Speaking of Elle King- I can't get enough of this song. I like this version of it at Daryl's House. Live From Daryl's House - "Ex's & Oh's" I don't think there's a session of 'Live at Daryl's House' I haven't seen. Love it! I have tix for Hall and Oates in August. Looking forward to it.

I don't reckon I have ever bathed a rock before tumbling. I also don't tumble a lot of self collected material, unfortunately, so most I get in the mail looks pretty clean already. If I have a dirty rock, I'll knock the crud off, but that's about it. If I'm cutting it on the tile saw, I guess that would count as a wash. Luckily, I have never had a gassing issue.
ETA: Just how dirty are your rocks? I suppose that could make a difference.?

Like others, it took me a minute to look, but there it is...Nebraska blue agate. Can't say I've seen anything about it here on the forum. A quick search shows there are a couple mentions, but nothing I've ever seen. Great finds, they light up under that UV.

Great shine on that batch. I know what you mean about the chalcedony roses, I've gone down that road with the same experience. You have a nice bunch of pet wood there and I like your favorite; there are a couple in my bowl with a similar look. I have to agree though, that first pic has my favorites. Nice amethyst and plume agate!

I like your style, jump right in. Remind the missus that you'll still require a rock saw, trim saw, more tumblers, possibly a vibe lap and you're in a good location for a faceting machine. Welcome from KY!

Thanks for the show. That's a gorgeous display of gravels from the San Jacinto. Some of that wood is out of this world!
