If anyone is interested. On Denver's craigslist there is a 6' rock saw. Pretty crazy. Runs two 36" blades stacked cuts up to 30" rocks. Thats what the ad says. Check it out.

I've only ever seen a couple of pieces of the material and they all had the pale green. Don't know if there was variation or not in the material but none of that bright yellow in any I've had, so I supposed your pics could show two different materials....Mel Yes sir. Only after washing these specimens and taking photos i seen the difference in the two. The colors in the three bottom pieces show more bright and vibrantly. The #3-#4 photos the rosebud rough so the other pieces do you have any idea what they might be?

Hello again sorry for bring up this thread again. It has been bugging me since i posted these pictures. I can't help but think there is two different types of rocks here. If you look at the first two photos the three bottom rocks look different then the two on the top. I am thinking i mixed them up when sorting them. I have been looking at them and they look to different to be the same similar in color but different. The bottom three do not have the grey or greenish color matrix that the top two have. Any help what do you think?

Tommy That's got a lot going for it! Lots of color. I can't wait to see cabs from it. You found better material than people who have been hounding there for years. Lynn Thanks Lynn. The truth is I've barely scratched the surface of what I brought back. I was cleaning and organizing my rock area and I ended up sitting at the crate full of Holt Canyon for like an hour just drooling over it and pulling out pieces I want to cut So many rocks so little time... Well Tommy that sure is nice and i guess drooling over a crate of rocks is one way of cleaning them off and getting a good look at them. .
