This & the Bruneau look like twin sisters of different mothers. Lynn

Hard to tell on many of your photos. Show the rock wet as well. Try for better focus. Where's this one from? Lynn

1dave, Thanks for posting this. I downloaded the pdf & am enjoying reading about fire agates by a very enthusiastic miner/cutter. Lynn

That's a funny listing. The English is not quite correct, and yet it's accurate. I love the part about drilling like a chicken pecks rice. Yep, they ship from China. I takes 10 - 14 days. Lynn

We got about 2" yesterday in Cedar City, Utah. It's melted by now. I did see some flakes falling today, but not much. Lynn

Sound like pretty low prices. I'd jump on both of those. Lynn

melhill1659, this is a different Susan. But I can relate. I was so busy cooking & eating that I didn't get to chat much. Next time I'll hire my kids to prep the food. Lynn

Carol, Welcome from Southern Utah. My Dad is from Michigan, but I've never been. Tell us what brought you to the forum & how rocks fit into your life. Lynn

melhill1659, I'm not as active of a poster as some of you. Look at coloradocliff. It took me a few years to post as much as him in what a week? I got my job back. I started yesterday. Still getting access to my old files, etc. New laptop running Win 10. Hey Microsoft, can you make it any more convoluted? Can you make it pretty, but hard to use? Can you keep copying the competition, but do it poorly? Yes to all questions. I sure had a great weekend with y'all visiting, hounding, & eating. If we make this a regular thing, do you think we could get more RTH'ers to make the trip to Utah? Lynn

coloradocliff, I'm not familiar with the stuff you're talking about, but the IBJ looks nothing like onyx. Some has Opalite & some is a porcelain jasper. The harder stuff takes a great polish like most hard jaspers. Lynn

The show was good, but not as good a the Moab Rock club show. Moab is a tourist town. I'll probably do it again next year, though. Lynn
