There are lots of guys that are "into" guns & ammunition. Thankfully the majority of them are sane. We'll never know what this guy was up to unless he talks. Scary stuff.

Epic trip & report melhill1659. Great finds. I bet Con stayed home because a rockhounding trip with you looks exhausting. Wonder how do the people in southern Utah know Bob?

Only a 6 hour drive for me so I would be in but sadly I didn't make the list.....thats OK though I'll just spend time with all my local rockhounding buds (there aren't any). I ficked it! You better be there buddy! 💪😎 Damn, top of the list, that's what I'm talking bout!!! And to think I was about to call my therapist, I have fear of rejection issues....not. Can't wait to see the dwarf on a backhoe but how will they reach the pedals?

Around here you have to be careful when picking corn, we call them pack saddles Here it is Mike en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saddleback_caterpillarThere are tree farms down south to raise this one. Or a tree or two in the yard to harvest these morsels. Look familiar Mike ? Grandad had a Catawba tree. He even froze them. Maybe Pat would freeze some for me. Next to the English peas . Oh the catalpa worm, great bait for catfish!

I was gonna say that that is a LOT of cutting. A week at least, cutting every day. Probably a large FR box full of rocks. Might want to pare that pile down to the best pieces that you want to see cut. Didn't think about that (never used a slab saw), thanks for the advice.

I think he wants to send them to someone else to slab and keep half for their efforts. Yep, with the caveat that if it's a dud feel free to toss it & not waste your time.
