Jim, would love to have a piece Wyoming nephrite. I will return the favor in kind, the 'newbie' rock swap we did had you as following me, and I had selected my stuff with you in mind, then the shipping order got changed. However, you might want to wait until you read the thread I am about to post first before you decide I am okay. . . I suspect it will make a few folks weenie-eyed. . . But, from what I have seen the core group of we have here most all are wearing our big boy (and girl) panties.

"cant figure out why I fell for this one"
IMO, it's because you are a Red-Blooded American. After all, it's only the future of the country at stake. . .

I don't smell a rat, I smell a man in deep doodoo and needs to go sit at home pandering to his wife for a while. What do you smell?

Well, let's see now. The FBI has been investigating something else within the CIA for quite some time. They stumbled on this Petraeus thing when the "other woman's" name came up. This info would have been passed on in Whitehouse briefings , Which if Obama wasn't too busy campaigning instead of filling his job description, would have been aware of. Strangely this wasn't brought to light until a few days after the election. Also, Petraeus was supposed to testify in the Benghazi investigation. Now the thinking is that if he's no longer the head of the CIA, he won't be questioned. Wrong ! If necessary, Petraeus will face a subpoena to testify. Petraeus may have done wrong by his wife and family, but when it comes to his country, he's an honorable man. He will talk truthfully. Especially if he was thrown under the bus to cover his bosses ass.
What do I smell ? I smell something very similar to the smell coming from my ass after eating 2 big bowls of home made chili tonight. Only this smell is coming straight from the whitehouse.

What kind of faulty logic is that?
If Petraeus (whom incidentally was the other man the Republicans wanted to RUN FOR PRESIDENT besides Christie and Jeb Bush INSTEAD of Romney), had some big secret, throwing him under the bus would cause him to spill it, not keep it.
If you want a man to keep secrets, you do not throw him under the bus. Doh. You smell your own chili farts, coming from your own butt.
