Just saw this picture Mel. You said your blue tumbler was jumping around. Did you ever try putting it on a towel or at least down on that carpet? Did that make a difference?

Just saw this picture Mel. You said your blue tumbler was jumping around. Did you ever try putting it on a towel or at least down on that carpet? Did that make a difference? Good Morning I mounted in on the concrete block and my table has stopped vibrating haha but the barrel itself is going (just slightly) left to right. I'm going to try and post a video. I'm thinking the shafts might be a little off square. It's not a big deal but when I look over at them that little wobble is driving me crazy 🙈and get this... I'm using that black O-ring right, last night I oiled it just so slightly to keep the black dust down, the o-ring popped up a bit over that silver thing coming out of the motor and the barrel started rolling like it just got a B12 shot!!!! Super fast!!! Then it settled back into the groove and slowed. So that leaves me with a question... it obviously has the power. What took place for it to utilize the full power an I can I duplicate it? All of this thinking before I'm even finished my first cup of coffee too!!!

i1064.photobucket.com/albums/u363/Rocklicker1659/IMG_5272_zps9ftwgpiy.jpgOk well this is just a link to my stupid photobucket but Look in the Lapidary Equipment an I have a short video clip on the blue tumbler. When you watch focus your eyes on the top right section on the shelf. The shelf isn't moving so you can see that the tumbler is. Haha probably being way overly OCD

I'm struggling with that blue tumbler, too. I found that the motor is a bit cattywampus: the blades on the back part of the motor aren't straight which put everything on a wobble. I think I'll try to take it apart and try to reset it. I ended up buying another hi-speed motor, and it improved it. It's still not as smooth as the Thumbler's, though.
I did buy a new primary shaft, too, which didn't fix anything.

napoleonrags, I think I'm gonna go with If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'll just get over the wobble!
