Thanks for the ID. Since I have been cabbing, I have been learning a lot of new rock names. I'll add one more to the list.

This is not a stone wrap. I did not make this. My son has had this in his room for some time. The wire looks like it is about the gauge of a large paper clip. It is probably made in China, but really cool anyway. He bought it from a chinese classmate in elementary school. Her dad imported them for his gift shop. It looks to be entirely made of wire. The front view The side view The back Just thought you might like to see this. Amy

I decided to try adding a coil to my wrap. I am happy with the results. It is easy to do. A lot easier than weaving. and the back What do you think? Amy Any ID on the stone?

They are all great. I love your use of beads. They are a great accent to your wrap.

I have never seen that stone before. But then there are probably a lot of stones I have not seen yet. I like the brass on it. It almost looks like gold.

I made my drip system for my Highland Pak units like Cooknet described. works like a charm. Then I hooked up a hose to the drain hole and ran that to a PVC pipe which runs off the porch and onto the ground where I connected an old piece of garden hose to the middle of the lawn. I move it arund to water different spots. I figure it is also adding minerals to the lawn too. LOL. Now if I can only get a small water heater hooked up to it, my hands are freezing.

I am thinking of resurfacing my soft wheels. I know I saw a thread here a while back with instructions on how to do it. I have searched and searched and cannot find that thread. Anyone got a link to it?

Thanks for the ID guys. I did my bezel with it already formed, but am also thinking to weave it first and then make a bail out of it. It is very hard to do with it formed first. A hint, when doing a straight weave, I put an alligator clip on the wires ahead of where I am working to keep them straight. (well kind of straight) Then keep moving the alligator clip up as I go along. This weave took me from start to finish about 2 hours.

Yes, that will make an really nice pin. I like the wrap style, it will be awesome when you redo it. I alao really like that scene in the bronze one. It has a very distinct mountain in the background and a valley in the foreground. When you take photos of the finished pin, could you please take a photo of the back, so I can see how you attached the pin? I have been thinking of doing some pins but not sure how to attach it.

Very nice job. I love how everyone has their own style. This is an art form where no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
