Maybe this isn't so wierd or inappropriate but,,,,,I have always hated to be involved in any group party where they would draw names for a secret Santa. Whoever drew my name was always someone who probably didn't even know who I was or at least didn't know me very well. So I would invariably receive perfume. I am allergic to most perfumes and colognes. So every year I woud just resign myself to receiving perfume again at the office party, and then put it in the box for the next yard sale.
One year I was surprised, an older asian man who barely spoke english drew my name. I opened the package and it was a Christmas ornament, a stuffed santa head with a fur beard and jingle bells around where his neck would be. Kinda ugly. I still hang it on my tree, because it wasn't perfume. Silly huh?
Of course I would always draw a name for someone I didn't know very well either, so I would always try to get them something that everyone could use and no one could possibly be allergic to. For instance, Candy is never a good idea for someone you don't know. It is just not fun to get candy if you are diabetic.

This doesn't really have anything to do with wrapping or even rocks. I just signed in here and a cafe press ad came up at the top of the page. I about fell off my chair when the first 3 photos were of my work. My painting images. I do have 4 cafe press stores. I have had them for 2 years and just recently sold my first 6 items. Kinda funny.
just thought I would share that. RTH is better than I thought. It even promotes me in it's ads. LOL

My new hobby,, LOL, actually that is done in Argentium silver, the pink color is a reflection off my house. It is an eggplant purple house. No, not my idea, we are renting.
The pink reflection on the left side of the stone is from the house also, but the rest of the stone is true to color.

Today I finished my first silver weave. I don't know what kind of stone it is. It looks like a black stone with white lacey patterns in it. I did the bail without forming it first. I found this was easier this time. In the shade In the sun and the back Thanks for lookin Amy

I took a used Highland Park combo unit that had a trim saw and 2 wheels on it. I made 5 wheels fit where there were 4. That wasn't enough either. So when I came across another unit, (it just happened to be the same make and model, so now they match.) I did the same with 4 wheels where there were 2. Now I have 9 wheels and everything works great. Actually this is an earlier photo, now I switched out the 1800 wheel and added a 15,000. I like it better that way. Don't even need the polishing disks now. Both units have a polishing disk on the ends also. My husband refurbished and painted both of them. He also put the drip system with a 5 gallon water heater attached. Both units drain out to the yard and water the grass. We used 2 speed swamp cooler motors on them. I'm a happy camper. Amy

Thanks everyone.

HmmmmI suspected my brain looked like that,,,,,,. The large drusy in the middle explains a lot. That's where things get stuck that I forget. LOL Welcome everyone. This place is a lot of fun. It gets to the point where your day just isn't complete if you haven't been to RTH yet. I find myself looking at the gravel in the parking lots here. I wonder where they get it? It has some great stuff in it.

I found the rock slide. We get a lot of red rock slides here, so Iguess it is appropriate.
