Beautiful and unique! That's the cool thing about wire wrapping - the possibilities are endless.

Top notch cabs and wraps! It sure helps to get a quality product when you start with stones like that.

Cool idea! I like it. Looks like that miner could use a shovel better than a pan.

Beautiful job Sue! The competition will make you better and better, although I certainly don't see anything wrong with this stone.

Very appealing. I like the denim lapis - looks really nice when made up into jewelry. Well, actually all the lapis looks good when mounted.

Nice material and cabs. I'm kinda partial to the Aussie turquoise but the eqq-shaped b/o is sweet too.

Great stuff Tony! Just wondering what you will do when you get to "X". Normally I don't like man-made material but that fordite really grabs your eye.

Iris

I had a small piece of agate that I suspected might be iris (rainbow) agate, so I checked it out. Here's what I got. The lot, minus the one I polished for a key chain piece. Looks like nothing, right? A few pics of the polished piece. These are all the same piece, just held up a little differently to cfl bulb in the kitchen. Every piece in the above lot has the iris band like this, but not noticeable until polished. Note how the color changes, depending on how you hold it up to the light. Taped to some black paper with a hole cut in it:

Great job Jo! You picked some beautiful stones to do your great wraps on. Both turned out fantastic!

Super cab Krystee! Beautiful work as usual! I'm glad Michael broke a slab for you to cab. If you see one you really like maybe you could have him test it from the roof top.

Now that is cool! I can't make up my mind if I like red agate better or blue. Right now I'm thinking blue. Should be very classy with the wedding gown.

You did a great job on these. There's something about the simplicity of a groove-wrap that is really nice. That heart turned out great - it looks liquid.

I think it will look great when you cut/grind/polish it. It definitely passes the weight test.
