Don't any of you folks blame me. I'm voting for Howard the Duck and Opus the Penguin! Nice choices, I'm leaning towards Dave Mustaine at this point.

Just a guess but might be some kind of tillite. The similar nature of the stones though makes me think not. Where did you find it ?

That is something to keep you sharp or really tick you off. I grew up playing Eucher and then Pepper. Pepper is double Eucher deck and biding how many tricks you and the partner will take. That is a counting game that's easy to mess up. Its not too bad when the decks are different and some of the older cards dog ear in the opponents hand, or yours if you forget to turn that end down.

So I've never had a new vehicle and the wife has graciously offered to pony up mucho denero. Her Union pension co. said they weren't keeping the accounts open anymore and here it comes. She doesn't like the markets anymore and doesn't pay a penalty due to disability. So it got invested in a new Tacoma. They wanted $20000 for a 2009 with 100000 miles on it and I thought the guys were nuts. Then I got to looking around and found that most of them are freaking high. Momma says get a new one so Poppa didn't argue much. My poor 2000 S-10 extreme, 4 banger, manual, has not only seen better days. It has more duct tape and wire holding it together than it should. The Illinois road salt that I never washed off has taken its toll. She mentioned something about me actually coming home in one piece or something since I won't let her drive it. Too many little tricks that you need to know in order to get from point A to point B. That one will turn into the "farm" truck that runs tools and crud around within a 5 mile radius until it just stops one day. That way my new truck can stay nice and shiny for at least a little while. Almost as excited as when a box of rocks arrives !

Marinedad should have it made, only 13" ? Mark has been through some doosies at his old place I'd bet. This year we haven't got more than 6" here in central Illinois. Cold stinks though but it does slow down the grass mowing a bit. Come on 50 degrees ! Jamesp is right though my smart siblings moved to Texas and Louisiana, didn't look back.

Strong work indeed. One suggestion though, photographic evidence of Momma's wash rag is not advisable. Not when the dish towel incident is still fresh. Your a brave men.
I'm taking your idea and running though, there's half a bag of grout left over here somewhere. Now just need some warm weather.

Interesting experiment. In curious about your corn cob media. Is that bought somewhere ? Assume so. Now days with all the corn genetics those stalks and likely cobs are much denser than they used to be. Likely to hold up a lot better than 10 years ago even. Just a random thought. You've given me some good info and even better ideas ! Well done, they look great.

Sweet, nothing like seeing the fruits of your labor and engineering come to life. As for the leaks maybe clean the !@ out of the spots with dawn and maybe a solvent then fill in with some gutter sealant. The butyl kind should stick and hold up pretty good.

Agreed that is a hum dinger. Funny how we remeber all those fixes after things get apart. If I had a nickel for every time that happened. Glad it's all working.
Not to hijack this but on the subject of bearings I was able to read the numbers off the side and found some reasonable at Shoup Mfg. that were for a farm combine. They are just up the road so easy for me to stop by after work so no shipping.
