It could be a badly worn coral.

Great advice so far. I would add to plan your set up in advance. Some do a mock set up prior to the show, so they can see how long it takes to set up and take down.

Update. Due to my knee injury, I was unable to sit to do a wrap. The knee has improved, so planned on finishing the wrap yesterday. Ended up with a severe migraine, but tried to do it anyways. Discovered that the half round wire I ordered was sent as round wire. Oh well, I would deal with it. Nope. Migraine got worse instead of better. I had to basically knock myself out and sleep for 10 hours. All is well now. I will start a new wrap with other wires I have. The ones I had purchased will not work for the tumbled flat I selected. According to some here it is not really a cab. Send on to Johnny either today or tomorrow, depending on when mail is picked up. My mail delivery is strange. Can happen between 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM. All the drivers appear to take different routes. There were a lot of freeform tumbled flats in the box. I added some cabs with a girdle and/or dome. Here is what I added. Everything will be carefully packed with extra packing material. Will post when the package is picked up by PO.

I feel your pain. I purchased some heavily stabilized fossil soup slabs last year. The price was right, like less than $20.00 for two boxes full. Over 20 lbs. total. The slabs have a lot of glue or something on them. Enough that you can feel sloppy bumps on the surface.
I have some soaking in acetone right now.
Do you think that whatever was used to stabilize was not appropriate for labradorite? I have tumbled some that was not stabilized. There were the typical cracks in some, but others turned out fine.
Do you think the seller was correct with what they said it was stabilized with? Could it have been something else?
I hope that your issue can be figured out.

I kept hearing planes go over my place and wondered what was going on. Totally forgot that EAA stats tomorrow. Note all the planes headed to Oshkosh.

RickB You points are always nice to see. I love the ones in the 2nd photo. I was wondering the same thing that Jason was, so thanks for answering.

There are several Ferries in Wisconsin. Only one is free. The Merrimac Ferry, which crosses the Wisconsin River between Sauk and Columbia counties, is Wisconsin's only free ferry. It shuttles WIS 113 traffic between Okee on the east bank and Merrimac on the west. The ferry is open for service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, normally from April 15 through November 30.

Warning. Lots of photos. I replied to a posting on a FB selling group about the carved leaves, quartz mini spheres and amethyst mini towers. I have purchased items from the seller in the past and she lives fairly close to me. While there I asked if she was selling anything else. She brought out a small box of stuff. There were some pendants and pendulums, beautiful rock specimens, cabochon pendants and some drilled rocks. I left with more than I had planned, but got a good deal on everything. She just kept adding stuff to my box and pricing it very low. . What I came for. Found a few stars in the rose quartz spheres. The largest spheres are about the size of a quarter. What I left with. Bowl of quartz and a point pendant. A 4” geode. A beautiful satin sheen obsidian knife. Some mostly amethyst cabs. Mostly amethyst mini spheres. Indigo gabbro and other drilled rounds. Misc. drilled flats. Misc. I like the carved, moonstone lilies. Will be taking everything here apart for other uses. She gave me some bead caps and sphere stands. She also gave me a 6”, badly sliced satin sheen obsidian slab. Everything came to $50.00. I got to go on a nice drive on a Rustic Road.

Posting for a friend. Does anyone know what these are? My friend was told they are artifacts, possibly related to weaving. Found in Michigan. Sorry for the blurry photo.

rockbrain I’m sure jasoninsd knows how to add the video he’s super savvy with that type of stuff. I took a screenshot and can add that. Not sure how to add the video. I actually don't in this case Ashley. Whatever the OP did to add the video, my laptop won't display the video (like rockbrain stated). HOWEVER, my laptop is downloading an mp4 Quicktime movie onto my computer. I'm not a fan of that - and I won't open something that has to be "downloaded" onto my PC...so when I open a thread that does that (like this one), I have to go into the download folder, delete the mp4 file...then I don't go back into the thread again because I don't want something that I didn't request downloading to my computer. (Not saying anyone who posts this way is intending something malicious...I just don't trust anything that I didn't "request" to be downloaded.) Same for me.

For some strange reason I love living in an area where temps range from -30 to over 100 in a year.
I don't like super low temps and wind chills of -20 or less. Highs in the 90's+ with humidity over 50%. When living in AZ, I had no problem being outside in dry heat of 100+.
In Wisconsin, if the temp is over 85 and the humidity is over 50%, I cannot handle it. Been like that since the 1990's,when I had heat stroke at Road America. It was a very bad experience that could have been prevented.
