Just back from my last trip. Picked up more on the way back. Some of it has converted to jasper already, but same colors and patterns.
If you get back out this way again let me know and I can take you some other places next time.
You know if I’m ever any where around I’ll give you a call!

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t posted in a while Life... I’m still licking rocks!
I’ll be traveling to Cody Wyoming in a few days-staying a week, traveling to Big Piney for another week then back home. Anyone have any insight on Rockhounding in the surrounding areas?

For you foodies I left out I had a late lunch consisting of pieces of deer steak, mustard greens w/ hot sauce and sweet potato casserole. All was home grown, picked from the garden, even the deer 😂, and cooked ready for my visit. Oh your so mean. I love deer meat cooked any way you can think of. You picked deer growing in the garden I am living in the wrong state. Up here when they get in the garden chances are they may end up going to sleep 😴 then are dinner the next day. In season of course That’s exactly what happened 😂

It’s okay it’s soft because that’s on his just for show shelf. I needed an out door break last week and him and his wife (Robert and Leslie) invited me out to the country. I got to play around in their rock garden, feed the catfish, cut some slabs, drink a beer and just visit all day. Sounds like a good time the only thing missing was the 🍔 on the barbecue to go with that cold beer For you foodies I left out I had a late lunch consisting of pieces of deer steak, mustard greens w/ hot sauce and sweet potato casserole. All was home grown, picked from the garden, even the deer 😂, and cooked ready for my visit.

Bump! I was lucky enough to learn my Intarsia skills from Bill first hand. I’ve really missed my time at William Holland and my friends. Hopefully 2021 will be brighter and open back up the possibilities of fellowship again. Miss you Bill! Hey melhill1659 good to hear from you! I’ve enjoyed watching the great variety of you and your sister's work. Y'all are amazing - your energy and talent overwhelms me👍 I'm getting ready to sign up for another inlay class with Chuck, Hope to see you at William Holland in 2021. You will see me! In your Intarsia 2 class. I’m so super excited to get back to WH and see all of y’all.

More coffee, more coffee, you got it more coffee Still wouldn't work for me. Hangry + Caffeine = not a good look If I was in a group that was stranded without food, I'd likely be the first person that was eaten. My husband and my sisters husband are the same way! My brother in law is a wonderful Rockhounder! But Oh My Lawd if Christy forgets to pack him plenty of food for our days journey. I’ve only eaten 1 square meal a day since I was a wee kid so I don’t think about it 😂 Now I strive to let guest know to think ahead when packing for the day. When you leave camp at dawn, finally find a nice spot, it almost takes an act of God himself to get me out of there. Once Chris an I set out from Salt Lake City in search of the elusive Tiffany Stone. It took hours getting to Gold Hill. Then stopped to play in the old mine dumps. Moved on to sites before finding our prize. That was 2 days later, camping in the truck without COFFEE AN only had a big bag of Doritos between us 😂 and very very low on gas! We saw 2 people in those 2 days. When we found civilization we bought out the food and coffee. People thought we were nuts. LESSONS LEARNED: Always take extra gas, a packable blanket, instant coffee for emergencies! Oh an if it wasn’t for my hand help gps we would probably still be lost in rural Utah but BOY WHAT FUN!
