Wow very nice! It might be easier working material as you said but that looks like a masterful polishing job to me - and it don't polish itself! What do you use to polish the larger pieces? Thanks Tommy! I used this then finished by hand cause I was getting scratches with the finer pads. I had an old bucket attached with a hole for the arbor that really helped cut down on getting drenched, but I had to take that off because the bookends didn't fit.

Never heard of Mailgano before, but that's got to be one of the coolest rocks I've ever seen. Incredible!

I'd say "nice" is a pretty big understatement!

I've got the HF 10", it works great. The issue with the spray directing away from the blade is true, I just clamps some curved plastic scraps to the hood to redirect it.

Bucknutty So sorry not to have replied. Last feW weeks have been busy (and fun!) Did you make the trip? Argh I did make a trip to a couple other spots, but didn't make it to Dead Camel. Still on my list for next time tough.

vegasjames @bucknutty I live in Fallon. Been wanting to do some checking out of that area. Just got a vehicle a couple weeks ago that should make the outing feasible. Would love to join in if you're amenable. Let me know when you'll be around. My schedule is pretty open, except I won't be around from about May 20 to May 28 (even that can be rearranged slightly.) Argh ETA: can't figger out why I can't tag @bucknutty ETA2: Think I figgered it out. Bucknutty Fallon is a nice area. Almost bought 160 acres up there a long time ago. Now wish I would have done it. I go to Reno once or twice a year. So will let you know when I head up that way and we can either got to Dead Camel Mountains on the way up or I can drive down from Reno.
vegasjames arghvark Any chance you guys are up for some hounding next week? I'm not dead set on Dead Camel if there's something else in the area that needs exploring.
