Cher's husband called me and said that she is in the hospital for tests this weekend and may even get her first Chemo treatment in Duluth and then be able to get the rest of her treatment closer to where they are.
he said the doctors indicated the prognosis was good and she has a good attitude, so just wanted to let you all know as i told her husband we would all be thinking about her over the weekend.

to be honest, i was so caught off guard by the phone call i didn't know what to ask or say. i have never actually talked (on the phone) to Cher before, so you can well imagine the awkwardness of her poor hubby calling a "complete freaking stranger", but, she asked so he did and....well, i don't know much more than what i'd posted, i'm surprised i even remember that much....
i wish now i'd asked more questions!

This is Cher's son posting, but Im on the phone and shes dictating to me...Hi all , I should be starting my chemo on wednesday. The schedule will be one chemo treatment every three weeks for six to eight treatments. My doc said "we ane not playing with remistion here, we are going for a 100% cure." Thanks for all your prayers, I miss you guys!
She is really in good spirits. I m glad that mom has friends who care and support her in prayer! The doctor decided to admit her because she had some swelling in her neck that was causing some pain. She was checked in so that they could do all the tests and start her treatments. This was great because it could have taken three weeks to do all the testing and get treatment started if she had been sent home. I believe that she will be going home on thursday. Thanks, Gary Groshel

Gary, thank you so much for posting on your mom's progress. We pray for her because she is very loved and respected here. We would be lost without our ROCK GODDESS. You give her a big hug from us, tell her to take it easy and we will be anxiously awaiting her return
