Dang...still debating. Part of the hitch is that I need to fly back on the Monday (5th). So, I'll need my own vehicle (rental) anyway to get back to the airport. Tony, I checked on flights to Salt Lake and it would cost a lot more. Thanks, though!
You guys gotta picture me as "sheltered city boy". It would be cool to camp with one of ya...was just wondering if I'll be able to shower once in a while? Do I need to bring toilet paper? What food should i bring?
Somebody, just say "it will be OK Jeff. It's not a big deal. Just book the dang flight!"

if I get to come I'll have and enclosed trailer -- could always put a cot in it -- or I have a 12'x16' tent that sleeps 3-4-5-6-8 depends on how close you want to get ! ;D ;D --- got a couple new tents that are just the small ones too

Rodney and I have a shower figured out, its going to work good enough that everyone will be able to shower. There is bathrooms there with sinks and toilets, also water taps throughout the campground. As far as driving from Phoenix to Burro Creek every day, I don't think you'll like that too much. Wikieup has a hotel and thats only 16 miles from Burro Creek. We have plenty of extra camping gear, sleeping bags, bedding, chairs, actually, I listed a bunch of what we have in the thread earlier on. If you want to drive to Burro Creek with the rest of us, you can just park your rental at the group site and ride to the hunting spots with all of us. You can leave on Monday if you have too but maybe reconsider driving from Phoenix everyday, thats a heck of a drive. I think as far as the food goes, if everyone wants to rally at my house we can pick up stuff for some continental breakfast's and keep the lunches fairly light, maybe soups salads and sandwiches then eat hardy at night. At the WWR trip, we took turns cooking the dinners and it worked out really well. We do need to get together or figure out a shopping list because we had way too much food at WWR.
If I come up with a menu and plan the dinners, would everyone be willing to pitch in some money for the groceries or would most of you prefer to cook your own meals? I think planning a menu would be the best route, less hassle for everyone and I could do most of the shopping and have things ready to go so we didn't have to worry about it after everyone arrives. Everyone please let me know how you feel about this idea, if you want to know what I have in mind as far as the menu goes before you decide, I can post one and we can go from there.

I think the menu is a really good idea, then everyone who wants to can just chip in. Always seems to work out cheaper, too. Just doesn't seem fair to saddle you with all the shopping, maybe split it up amongst several people.

Hey, I'm really late in the day, I know, but I just noticed this thread. I've got the drift, but it is really hard to pin down exactly what days this is happening and other details...

OK, flight is booked. I'M In!!!!!
And count me in for food contribution. I'll eat almost anything. I hit phoenix by 10am. Still have to line up a rental so I can get back in to Phoenix on Monday. Once I have that, I could also pick up some grub and transport it if needed.
Personally, during the day, I love just having the kids lunch snackpacks containing cheese, meat and crackers. That and a bottle of water and I'm good to rock hunt for hours and hours.

Hey Ed, The bad news is: The titan is staying at home. The good news is: I am building a 14 inch gas powered saw and a gas powered cabbing machine. The cabber is an old star diamond that I am sprucing up a bit. The saw is a combination chop/slider. I am also taking a 7inch trim saw that my little generator will run. So, don't panic, you will have a complete lapidary shop at your disposal!
