Ken,
Don't know what I'd have to trade, but if you have any Ruby Jack Sphalerite, I'll find something! ;D

I may have a conflict for at least part of the allocated time so don't make any kind of reservation for me. I hope to hit two or three other sites too if I make it, so if I hit Woodward on dates corresponding with the get together, It'll just be for a couple of days and I'll just tent camp or sleep in my vehicle or stay in a motel in town, whichever works out depending on how dirty I've already gotten *L*.....Mel

That's all any of us are doing this time Mel, tents or what ever. I remember we talked before and after the first one, still feel the same. Would love to have a fire talk (if a fire can be done this year) and you would fit right in.

Just so everyone knows... I'm not making any reservations... We're all staying in tents (sites are first come, first served) or RVs (make a reservation if you want). I am going to send an email telling them the dates of the Blitz and that there may be 2 RVs and about 5 tents. If there's anything else you think they should know, or if you have any questions, let me know and I'll ask. I'm not in any way 'in charge' of this, just thought someone should let them know we're coming. Later, jeri

Here's the reply to my email:
"Hi, Jeri, It's good to hear from you. We're celebrating Spring Break again this year! Prices are not posted on our website because they change from time to time. Here are the current prices: $35 per night for RV's for two people. $15 per night for each extra person. $15 per night per person for tent camping. There is no longer a 'per tent' price. These prices include the $5 per day fee for rock hunting so there is no additional daily fee. Rocks collected are still $2 per pound.
We want everyone to fill out a registration form UPON ARRIVAL. We will go through collections and weigh the rocks collected EACH DAY and add that total to each person's registration form. We still cannot accept credit/debit cards, so this will make payment easier as payment will be due only once...before each person leaves. We still accept personal checks/cash/traveler's checks. If you have seen our website recently you may have noticed that we are selling Needle Peak. We can't offer Needle Peak trips during Spring Break because we are so busy up here on the main ranch. So I'm sorry to say our last Needle Peak trip for this spring will be during our Club's rock show which is April 15, 16, 17, with our Needle Peak field trip offered April 14. The next trips will begin in Oct., 2011, unless the property sells. Thanks again for getting in touch with us. and we look forward to having the reunion once again. Just email again if you, or any of the others, have more questions. All the best, Jan"
That's exactly as she sent it. I didn't capitalize anything. I'll give you my thoughts after you've had a chance to reply.
Later, jeri

Disappointing there will be no Needle peak trip, but I will survive "I guess, if I have to" (for the red green fans out there) Well this will be memorable trip, not sure it will happen there again. There I was the one to say it.
Looking forward to meet the new ones Ken and Donna, Mel, et al. And very much my second family.

Jan just can't make up her mind about pricing. Last year while we where there the price went up on people that stead with us. 6 months ago she stated that Rv's would be $30.00 a night and $ 15.00 for each extra person staying with us. Now it's $35.00 a night for Rv's. I don't think we could go to the ranch this year. I think Jan might be in for a shock when no one goes back next year. She is out pricing herself . If there were bathrooms and showers, laundry room, wifi, tv phone service that would justify $30-$35 a night. Don and I have been traveling all over and we have gotten a good idea on pricing in many different RV campgrounds and this one lacks every thing. I'm sorry it has rocks. I am sorry if this makes any one upset. Just my thoughts. sorry for any mis spelled words. I am typing to fast. This is also my first upset e-mail I have ever sent.

No need to apologize Dorothy. I'm pretty much fed up with the whole mess myself. I totally agree that she is way out of line with the RV prices for the services they offer. On top of the fact that the prices keep changing on a daily basis it seems.
I wasn't sure if I would be able to go this year and now it's looking more like I will not be going for sure.
I'm definitely a little sad that the annual WWR trips seem to be all but over now... had some fantastic times with some very fine friends and made some great memories. I guess all good things must come to an end though...

Thank You Blarney, Friendships will never come to an end. Just need to find another Rock place to hunt. I'm with you about the memories over a four year span. They will never be forgotten. I would hate to be a family going for a vaca. and find out it's 15.00 per person per tent. ouch! Oh well I think Jan is making a big mistake but to each his own. Bye Trey I will miss you. And Donna is so looking forward to this trip. She tells me every day "only _X__ more days". I'm not crazy about WWR stuff, but she is and she will go with me to Idaho in July, and she isn't crazy about anything there except agates. WE ARE GOING COME HELL OR HIGH WATER, even if it is $20 night.

Ken, You are a good man. I must tell you it is $15.00 per person per tent. That's $30.00 a night for tenting. Just thought you would like a heads up. If some else stays in your tent with you and Donna that's another $15.00 for them also. Have a good time and hope to see you in the future. Donna hold on to that man. Dorothy
