The rocks have arrived and boy, am I excited! Here's how they looked, fresh out of the box: Washed and still wet: Rearranged a bit: So, we're all waiting until everyone has their rocks before starting, right?

I guess you didn't need my address after all Roy. This is how the box arrived! Maybe the USPS does have magic powers!? These are the rocks that I think will end up being my competition pieces! ~Roland

Nah, it was all good. I just didn't take a pic of the whole batch yet. I just thought it was funny sitting on my porch with my address completely ripped off!
Thanks for the batch and for the fun to come!!

im going to check all the tracking numbers tomorrow and see if all of you have got the boxes yet ! Hi Roy and all, I am still in Panama, so I can't check my mailbox back home. I assume the box arrived or will arrive soon, so please don't hold up everyone for me. I will be starting tumbling much later than everyone else, but I still should have plenty of time since I use a vibe and some people are strictly rotary. Of course the guys that do final polish for weeks (you know who you are!) will have an advantage, haha. Seeing all the pics of the material sure does make me anxious. Thanks! - Mark

Oh Boy!! Oh Boy!! Box was waiting on the front porch last night when I got home from work. Once I got it inside and opened up I had to wait in line as my husband and son both beat me to the goods. Being wet behind the ears tumbling and never working with agate or jaspers in this way the box was a bit intimidating. But I am sure that when I get the chance to really get everything wet, washed, sorted and sized on Sunday any apprehensions will vanish. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! Agate and jasper is the easiest stuff to tumble, so there's no reason to be intimidated by the rocks. The only downside is that they take a long time because they're so hard. Hey Fantastic5, you gotta watch what the Jugglerguy says. He has already been talking trash and we know how badly he wants to win. Take his advice with a grain of salt. In fact I would advise all contestants to not even bother tumbling any of that rotten jasper or agate. It wears down the grit too fast and is a waste of time. Just throw it all out, or mail to me for proper disposal.

Hey Ya'll....I would like to have everyone start at the same time...JOhn Shall we synchronize our watches? I'm going to try to prep mine up and get a couple pics today. I also have to cut a new sheet of rubber for the end seal on one of our coarse barrels, it has been leaking.
