Hey guys I haven't been posting lately cause im not really tumbling its not really easy for me to do lately but we all eat right? and I wanna still contribute to the site....I'm trying to learn how to cook....so below are pics of my homemade beefaroni, and burritos...I REALLY wanted to make enchiladas, but the grocery store I was at didn't have any enchilada sauce....but thanks to youtube I learned how to wrap burritos right! lol im a chef in the making! Everyone share what you cook and recipes if you want.....I need some ideas....Friday will be chili day after the ground beef thaws out.....Chris
For the beefaroni I browned 1 1b ground beef w/ salt pepper and onion powder...added it to a big pot with some pieces of sliced bell pepper....boiled 2 cups of elbow noodles then added them in the big pot.....then poured in a big can of tomato juice brought to boil and simmered 15-20 mins till thick and the noodles swelled up.... The burritos im just proud of rolling right lol just ground beef, taco seasoning, tortillas, cheese etc

lol....chicken looks awesome.....as simple as it is I got the beefaroni recipe from my grandmothers cookbook....its only a 30 minute deal....the spaghetti sauce and pot roast recipe is just too much for me at the time...that an all day thing...I like the idea of a big ole food fest though if someone brings a keg!

Cooking huh...Love to cook! Dad was a cook,so was our Mom....I've been cooking and baking for 50 years now... Lots of recipes..... Great at butchering, canning and sauces too....No complaints from my wife either and she is one heck of a cook too. I made a taco tator tot hotdish tonite,a new homemade chili recipe last week.... My best is my homemade red pasta sauce..... Best advice, keep practicing and cooking,it gets better and better....

oh man ive always wanted to brine my own pickles If you ever eat a good home canned pickle, you wont ever care to eat a bought one!I'm canning my fall crop now. snuffy An old timer I knew used to buy large jars of pickles in vinegar and turn them into sweet pickles. And they were delicious. Have you ever heard of such Snuffy ? Recipe: CONVERTING DILL PICKLES TO SWEET DILL STRIPS 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. vinegar 1 tbsp. mixed pickling spices 2 or 3 drops green food coloring Boil all together and pour over sliced dill pickles. Store in refrigerator. This makes 1 quart of delicious sweet pickles.
